ACKNOWLEDGMENTS Every recipe in this book was developed, tested and retested by the tireless team
at Food Network Kitchens. Thanks, above all, to the groups incredible leaders,
Susan Stockton, senior vice president, culinary production, and Katherine Alford,
vice president, test kitchen.

Under Susan and Katherines direction, the chefs
in Food Network Kitchens create an endless supply of amazing recipes for
Food Network Magazine, and we are grateful every day to work with them: Andrea
Albin, Bob Hoebee, Claudia Sidoti and Amy Stevenson, along with recipe testers
Leah Brickley and Treva Chadwell. Big jobs like this cookbook require big grocery
shopping trips, so we are thankful to Jake Schiffman and Dave Mechlowicz for
keeping the kitchens stocked (and for knowing how to get their hands on any
ingredient, any time, anywhere). They are truly the worlds greatest shoppers.
Enormous thanks to the magazines food editors, led by Liz Sgroi, for dreaming up
this book and for putting more than 1,000 recipes together into such a fun package.
Liz, along with Ruth Kaplan and Erin Phraner, created this cookbook for food lovers
like themselves, filling it with tips and ideas and making sure each chapter would
inspire all of us. Thanks, also, to Laurie Buckle and Megan Steintrager for helping
us pull off such an enormous editing feat. Our managing editor, Maria Baugh, as
always, kept the entire team on task, and Copy Chief Joy Sanchez and Copy Editor
Paula Sevenbergen checked every word until the recipes were perfect.

Thanks to
Jacqueline Deval, Vice President, Publisher, Hearst Books, who made the book
happen, and who introduced us to our great partners at Hyperion, led by President
and Publisher Ellen Archer.
We cant say enough to thank the design team behind this book, who brought
the same energy to every page that they bring to Food Network Magazine month
after month. Design Director Deirdre Koribanick and Photo Director Alice Albert,
along with Art Director Ian Doherty, former Associate Art Director Shira Gordon,
Designer Stephen Wilder, Deputy Photo Editor Kate Bednarek, Photo Assistant
Casey Oto, Art Assistant Brian Hardiman and Digital Imaging Specialist Hans Lee,
worked their usual magic, putting hundreds and hundreds of recipes and images
into a package that is clear, colorful and fun. They surround themselves with other
great artists to create the magazine every month, so were thankful to the talented
stylists and photographers they brought to this project.
We are most of all grateful to the strong partnership behind Food Network Magazine,
and to the leaders of Food Network and Hearst Magazines: Food Network President
Brooke Bailey Johnson; General Manager, Scripps Enterprises Sergei Kuharsky; Vice
President, Marketing, Partnerships Amanda Melnick; Hearst President David Carey;
President, Marketing and Publishing Director Michael Clinton; Executive Vice President
and General Manager John P.
