Ross E. Andersen, Ph.D., is an assistant professor of medicine at Johns Hopkins University and is the associate director of exercise science for the Johns Hopkins Weight Management Center. He also is a fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine and his work is supported by the National Institutes of Health.
Susan J. Bartlett, Ph.D., is a postdoctoral fellow at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, and a clinical psychologist with the Johns Hopkins Weight Management Center in Baltimore, Md. She also served as a member of the ACE Lifestyle and Weight Management Consultant Certification Examination Committee.
Mary Brouillard, Ph.D., received her doctorate in counseling/health psychology from Stanford University. She has a private practice, is the associate professor at the Medical College of Georgia and is the psychological specialist for the Weight For Life Program. She also served on the ACE Lifestyle and Weight Management Certification Examination and Role Delineation committees.
Gary D. Foster, Ph.D., is an assistant professor of psychology and clinical director of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine's Weight and Eating Disorders Program.
Andrew Jackson, P.E.D., is a professor in the department of health and human performance at the University of Houston, and adjunct professor of medicine at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.
Joseph P. Kearney, M.A., is the president and chief executive officer of Apple Health Systems in San Marcos, Calif., and the executive director of Wellways International. He is the author of Defeat D 'Fat: The Wellness Challenge for Living Lite, and Defeat D 'Stress: Techniques for Coping with Life.
Brian E. Koeberle, J.D., is a sports and entertainment attorney and the director of operations for the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association. He is the author of The Legal Aspects of Personal Fitness Training,and lectures on various sports and fitness and the law.
David L. Montgomery, Ph.D., is an exercise physiologist with research applied to physical training. He also is a professor in the department of physical education at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and is the director of the Seagram's Sports Science Center as well as the graduate program.

Bernadine M. Peter V. Sacks, M.D., is a physician with the division of internal medicine at Scripps Clinic & Research Foundation. He was formerly the head of the division of preventive medicine and director of the Bariatric (Weight Control) Program.
Barbara Scott, M.P.H., R.D., is an associate professor in the Nutrition Education and Research Program and the department of pediatrics at the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Reno, Nev.
David K. Stotlar, Ed.D., is the director of the school of kinesiology and physical education at the University of Northern Colorado. He is the author of several book chapters on sports and the law and frequently makes presentations at national and international conferences.
Larry S. Verity, Ph.D., F.A.C.S.M., is a professor of exercise physiology for the department of exercise and nutritional sciences at San Diego State University, and is a preventive and rehabilitation exercise specialist certified by the American College of Sports Medicine.
