Foreword
It is a great pleasure to introduce readers to a book about women's bravery, strength, and ultimate triumph over extreme trauma. Over the last twenty years I have worked as a psychotherapist with women struggling to overcome shame, guilt, anxiety, and depression resulting from circumstances imposed by the family and society. In my clinical practice, time and again a woman's problem can often be traced to an earlier trauma of sexual abuse. I am grateful to Christine Dinsmore for writing
