What readers have said about the Living, Loving and Laughing with Aspergers book series

Really enjoyed both books. I think it helps so much to hear real people's problems and solutions. Some of the books on the market can be too professional. So these are a refreshing change, and most importantly encourages positivity towards ASD. Thanks and well done.

Hilary Morrison (Mom to Josh - 15 with ASD, dyspraxia, and visually impaired).

The mix between your personal life moments, short stories, TV programs, and reflections with Aspergers Syndrome is one of a kind. The tips make me smile, laugh, think, wet my eyes and cry.

I like that the format of the book is very easy reading. Includes your input, and input from others going through similar situations. It says YOU ARE NOT ALONE, it's funny, it's informative, it's inspiring.

Your book covers many topics and this is a book that the reader is never finished with. This book can be used daily as an inspirational book or book of support; however you want to put it.

I really enjoyed reading this book (volume 1). I always find something that I can relate to my life with my boys. The stories help guide life through the daily challenges and inspire hope for the future.

Welcome

Thanks for downloading Living, Laughing, and Loving with Aspergers today. I really hope it inspires, informs, and entertains you in equal measures.

Why did I write this book?

Well Ive been helping parents of children with Aspergers since 2006. And one thing Ive noticed over this time is the need for hope and positivity. As day to day life raising a child with Aspergers can be tough.

And whilst theres lots and lots of how to... books. Dealing with all aspects of Aspergers like school problems... meltdowns... sensory issues... social skills... sibling relationships... and more (Ive even written a number of them myself).

There are fewer books offering inspiration and hope.

Over the past 18 months Ive been sending a daily email message (5 days per week) to 1000s of parents of children with Aspergers around the world. These messages are positive (at times humorous) and full of practical day to day survival tips for parents.

If youd like to receive these FREE daily email tips you can do so at http://parentingaspergers.com/blog/

They are generally short real life stories. As I believe stories are one of the best ways to communicate with people. They can inspire and add light into otherwise dark corners.
Think about your own life growing up for a second. I bet you loved stories as a kid and learned so much from them.

So Ive taken some of the most popular short stories/tips Ive written (as judged by parents whove read them) and produced this book. Ive also added some tips and stories which were shared by parents of children with Aspergers too.

And for the sake of symmetry theres 52 tips/stories (you know one for every week!)

26 parenting tips/stories from me.

19 tips from other parents.

7 real life stories from other parents.
