Rinse the beans and place in a large soup pot. Add the tomatoes, garlic, dill and enough chicken broth to cover by an inch. Season with the salt and pepper and stir to mix. Bring to a boil, lower heat and simmer 1-2 hours to desired doneness, stirring occasionally. Add more chicken broth if needed.
