Page 4 "Ni Hao!" "Ni hao! "Good day! Welcome to China!" You might hear this greeting if you visit China. China touches fourteen other countries in East Asia. Russia lies to the north, Pakistan to the west, India and Nepal to the south, and the Pacific Ocean to the east. China's highest peak is Mount Everest, at 29,028 feet (8,854 meters).
