Foreword

As I wrote this foreword, many thoughts, regarding all aspects of treating a beautiful little girl named Sarah, who lived in a world we knew nothing of, stirred again in my mind. Her world had no normalcy as the average person would experience it. If I were to title this foreword, I would certainly call it From Tears to Smiles. This book portrays the effects of Sarahs recovery from the emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual viewpoints experienced by Sarah, her parents, and myself; and assuredly friends and other people who interacted with her for various reasons.

I have to mention that Sarahs mother, Anne Evans, is a wonderful person who has a very deep and clear understanding of biological systems due to her education. She has knowledge and expertise beyond many of the professional dieticians I have had occasion to deal with. She had begun supplementation, food withholding, diet/food approaches that helped Sarah in many ways. She loves to help other people incorporate her findings and experience in their search to resolve problems. You will read the effects of specific foods in terms of signs and symptoms that Sarah had. Then, you will see Anne evolve to a point that could go no further, and she ran into a brick wall. Sarah was doing better with a dietary approach, but could not be really brought to normalcy. There is good reason for this. In my clinical experience, I have found that an offending food, an allergen, will leave a memory in the energetic body that dietary changes, supplements, and so forth cannot correct. Another approach must be used to edit, or delete, these memories once they are discovered and mapped into the systems brain functional areas.

I practice acupuncture, and I combine the aspects of traditional Chinese medicine, my electrical engineering and physics background, and Western medicine. I have had to put aside my scientific, Newtonian mind. I have found that many things related to the human biological system were more of a complicated quantum control system that associated with molecules, cells, cellular organization, organs, and communicative connectivities. In fact, I believe each cell is a holographic, multidimensional canvas that portrays all aspects of the whole body. I also believe that living biological formats (including humans) are capable of generating and receiving scalar energy that provides our information system with transport and control functions. This scalar system reacts with the holographic aspects of cells and cellular organization in the organs, brain, glands, and yet-to-be-defined pathways of the body. This scalar energy is difficult to measure. It does not fall off in intensity over long distances. Therefore, it does not diminish in intensity by one over the square of the distance between centers, as do other forms of electromagnetic radiation and fields. It is not a vectored radiation. In other words, it has no direction, like electricity. Scalar energy constitutes a new realm in terms of integrating the format into my energetic approach using detection equipment that I have designed and built.

Overview of the Technique

This book describes the diagnosis, treatment, and resolution of autism. I have had the profound privilege of setting a number of people on the spectrum free to a normal life. I have worked countless hours to perfect protocols in the use of a very important healing method called the Nambudripad Allergy Elimination Technique (NAET). NAET was discovered and systematized by my mentor and friend, Devi Nambudripad M.D. PhD. DC. Lac. and has been in use for more than twenty-five years. It uses fundamental acupuncture, acupressure, nutritional therapies, and concepts derived from ancient Chinese medicine. Another important technique is a testing format utilizing neuromuscular sensitivity (NST). This is a format of muscle strength determination associated with applied kinesiology, developed in 1960 by Dr. George Goodheart. It is also referred to as muscle response testing (MRT). Each practitioner must be re-certified for testing on a regular basis, and must stay current in various required advanced topics. MRT, NST, and Chinese pulses are used in combination for diagnosis. The points along the meridians are used to resonate and detoxify tissues, balance hormones, and boost the immune system. The cells of the body respond by opening portals in the cellular walls and releasing toxins into the lymphatic system for drainage from the body. Thus, whole systems are cleansed and are able to function normally again. While some individual techniques used in this therapy are ancient, the combination was derived by Dr. Nambudripad.

My work is not easy, as the person being treated is lost to the world, to their families, and to friends. There are human suffering and emotional aspects that are constantly in a dynamic that must be dealt with. People, of course, would like a single small, white pill to treat and cure autism, and they would like this to happen overnight. Naturally, that is not possible. Therefore, I often deal with other affairs of life surrounding the patient to make the change in lifestyle possible to encourage recovery. At times, I have to treat the mother or the father as each develops problems that need to be dealt with. This helps heal the entire family, increasing the health of the autistic child. Thus, I have watched many children mature over the last eighteen years as they grow into a young adults. In fact, many have graduated from college. Some were horribly aggressive and destructive. One, at the age of four, ate the wooden door framing of one of my treatment rooms; and yes, I get a smile now over this. In many cases, I had to figure out how to treat a child the parent could not hold. Sarah was difficult, but had no serious aggressiveness. Her difficulty was that there were too many systems, organs, offending foods, environmental influences that kept her in a non-developing state and world, with brain wiring problems.

Customized Therapy

I also point out that the therapy is a series of treatments based on the system diagnosis for each individual patient. The diagnosis changes and associated treatments are unique to each person based on their complex energetic physiology, symptoms, and sensitivities. Please note that this is a very sharp departure from current biomedicine, which gives a few prescriptions to try to reduce symptoms. The patient does not really get a tailor-made treatment and also deals with chemical side effects.
