This work considers the entrance of China, Russia and Ukraine to the WTO through a legislation prism. The original approach enhances traditional economic aspects with legal ones, and with politological accents. It is shown how economic problems can be solved in legal ways and helps explain how a cross-disciplinary approach to the solution of any problem can be used.

The World Trade Organization (WTO) currently plays the leading role in the international trade system. Different countries fulfil their ambitions to be its members in different ways. During the process of preparing to join the WTO, and later as a participant in this international organization as a full member, the economic regime of every state transforms in compliance with the principles and norms of the WTO. The experience of key states in joining the WTO is thus a matter of great scientific and practical interest. China, Ukraine, and Russia deserve special attention in this respect.
