Meridian massage is gaining in popularity, just like various forms of therapeutic healing or care about the subtle body, aura, or energy channels. Many modern forms of treatments can trace their origins to Asian traditional medicinal practices. However, most of the current approaches are just too demanding in time, money, or both. On the other hand, I can imagine that some of you do need more information. Some aspects of traditional Chinese culture (like TaiChi, QiGong, or Acupuncture) are massively marketed and widely popularized while some are completely unknown to general audiences. I believe that is the case with Qigong massage and I do NOT think that this is a bad thing.
Like anything else in this material creation, and the expansive mass media and Internet culture, there are two aspects positive and negative. The negative side that I can see (but cant ever feel peaceful about) is a massive nose-dive in the quality of teachings presented in many of the hot and popular in-demand topics. Unfortunately, health and massage (as well as most themes connected to Traditional Chinese Medicine or TMC) do fall into that category. That negative side is present in books, courses, and different types of media that cover TMC and its various aspects.
I am not saying, every teaching except that which is found in my books will not serve you to of course not. What I am trying to point out is that I believe some readers are not sure about what is and what is not traditional Qigong Meridian Massage. In short, I can say that Qigong Meridian Self-Massage is a very potent help in reducing physical and mental stress, building stamina, and increasing vitality; it has the potential to greatly enhance the immune system.
