This book approaches kundalini and the chakras through a Western energetic-healing frame of reference. I dont claim to be an expert in kundalini but I have encountered it many times in various guises over the last 45 years. Ive worked with crystals to cleanse and activate the traditional and newer chakras, and facilitate the smooth rising of power throughout the physical and subtle energy bodies. Ive used crystals to ameliorate adverse side effects of kundalini, without necessarily attributing them to kundalini activation. But which, with the benefit of hindsight, I have come to recognize as exactly that. I have also learned a great deal about the high vibrational chakras, their blockages and place in expanded awareness and spiritual evolution during that time. Id like to share the fruits of my experience with you.

Where crystals really come into their own is in bringing about a vibrational shift of consciousness, literally taking us into a new dimension or rather opening all possible dimensions. There are many crystals available now whose aim is to usher in awareness and integrate the perception of being both human and divine at the same time. Historically, this has been described as the Dance of Shakti (power) and Shiva (unadulterated consciousness). Raising awareness and linking with the divine has always been the aim of kundalini activation. But the crystals point out that we cannot achieve this unity until we have completed our personal healing and growth work and prepared our chakras to mediate the energetic flow. Kundalini rising can stimulate a cleansing catharsis as the energies shift. This shift can be assisted by preliminary chakra work, including opening the higher chakras, and raising the kundalini in gentle, purifying stages.
