What we are going to do today is find your crystalsthe ones that interact to optimum effect with your energies. You have a unique energy frequency and the secret to effective crystal working is to find the crystals that respond to it. You may like to set aside a whole day for this process, especially if you are going to learn how to dowse for your crystals, but there is one simple step that enables you to find your crystals quicklythis is to open the chakras in the palms of your hands.

To open your palm chakras, open and close your hands into fists several times. Then bring your hands together so that the palms touch, open your hands slightly, and bring them back together again. It will feel like a ball of energy builds up between your palms, which may start to tingle. Always open these chakras before choosing or working with a crystal.

Opening the Palm Chakras

Everyone who is interested in crystalsand especially people who were indifferent before they were befriended by a crystalhas had the experience of a crystal winking at them. You go into a store or you trawl the internet, and a crystal catches your eye. This is the one for you. It is not necessarily the biggest, the prettiest, or the priciest stone. It may be a raw lump, or it may be tumbled or faceted. But it is the most potent crystal for you.

So, rather than looking up the meaning of a crystal, or seeking a crystal for a particular symptom or application, try a different approach. Visit a store that sells crystals and see what calls to you, or look at what you have in your collection already. These eager beings have been longing to work with you. Now is the time. Keep a note of the crystals that choose you and record your immediate intuitions about how they want to work with you, and any insights that develop later.
