An Update for the Reader

I live on!

Thats what Timothy would be saying had he not physically passed on October 4, 2017.

Timothy admired my cheekinessand even dubbed me The Cheeky Oneso I know hed appreciate the humor. If anyone would laugh at death, it would be Timothy, so I hope you will too.

My name is Daniel. Timothy was my surrogate fatherand I proudly his surrogate sonand he has entrusted me to carry the torch that had been given to him by powers higher than us and honed by him over the course of more than seven decades.

We spent countless hours going over his vision, and my directed mission was clear: Reach as many people as possible. If my writing, my art, and my music inspires them, I want it to be in their homes.

To that end, I fully intend to publish his remaining books. He and Georgia had completed the final two books in this series already. They are on my computer, and I will be working with his team to have those published over the next couple of years.

His website is also in the process of being totally revamped. Timothy and I had created his first ever website back in 2002, but we turned it over to his hired help in 2003 andlets just be nice and say it wasnt in the decade where he wanted it to be. The new website will have all his books, writings, and artwork, so please do check it out. The web address will still be www.timothywyllie.com.

I have been asked by many people about purchasing prints of Timothys drawings, and they will be available as well. In an effort to get Timothys art into the homes of people who are drawn to them as Timothy had desired, there will be cards, prints, limited edition prints, and possibly even some originals (which are in the studious care of Timothys artner, the wonderful June Atkin).

Timothy was so much more than a surrogate father to me, and he was so much more to so many other people as well (maybe even you, dear reader).

When I received the news that he was rushed to the hospital and that it doesnt look good, I instantly dropped what I was doing and flew to Albuquerque to be by his side. He recovered enough to bring light to the hospital floorthe nurses and doctors absolutely loved himbut he also recovered enough to look his doctor in his eyes and console the doctor when he said, Look, I know you want to save me, but I am seventy-seven years old. I have lived a wonderful life, and it is time for me to move on. Ive died before, and I am not afraid of dying again.

So Timothy Wyllie checked himself out of the hospital and into in-home hospice carein my home with my family 1,667 miles away in Pittsburgh. If you have read Timothys books in the pastand therefore know of his amazing exploitsthen you will not be surprised to read that in typical Timothy fashion, we drove. It was the most miserable trip either of us had ever takendespite definitely having assistance of the angelic sort along the waybut what an adventure!
