TABLE OF CONTENTS
CHAPTER ONE
UNDERSTANDING NLP AND WHAT IT CAN DO FOR YOU
N LP or neuro-linguistic programming is epistemology, the faculty of realistic thinking. It deals with many levels of what makes us human. Because it focuses on the neurology, programming, and language of all of us, it is used to sketch the dynamics of the interaction of our mind and our communication and how this interaction affects our behavior.
Many wonder what NLP is, and the benefits of using it. Richard Bandler and John Grinder first developed NLP in 1975, but since then many have contributed to the development and casual expansion of the field. The methodologies implemented are called NLP, thanks to the modeling that we see here.
In todays world, NLP is widely used in the corporate sector to stimulate management, sales, and interpersonal skills; in the education system to better understand the different learning styles and to develop harmony with parents and academics and help with levels of private encouragement. NLP is a significant apparatus for sound self-improvement. The collective benefits of NLP training are numerous, and many sectors have been widely reported for several years.
For example, the management sector teaches us that coaching leads to better self-esteem and greater self-confidence. Many of us have experienced greater clarity in our direction of life because we have acquired talents to achieve more than our potential.
NLP training has clearly shown that you need to know yourself, which will allow you to be more balanced. Skills such as listening to others and more questions to fully understand what these means have led to fewer private misunderstandings. Students noticed a deeper understanding of others.
Thanks to these results, employers can develop more profitable business relationships among a greater diversity of people. Planning and achieving delegated goals are made much more comfortable with NLP, and by sharing a much greater awareness of peoples incentives, managers can improve the work of their team. Conferences are becoming more and more effective and stimulating and are ready to develop and test individual sessions to complement assessment, teaching, and additional training.
In sales, because NLP has helped develop its research capacity, it is more likely that the sales force will be fully tailored to the wishes and needs of customers. Again, this leads to more business, happier customers, and better relationships around the world. At the same time, the seller can better control their mind, thus becoming more confident that they will not be rejected by buyers.
In general, by understanding our behavior and the behavior of those around us, we can only be better placed to organize change where it is needed. The advantages of using NLP appear at this point, to completely overcome the alternative.
If youve ever wondered what NLP is and the benefits of using it, now you should learn a little better about how it can have a significant impact on your life.
For many, NLP is a lifeline that helps them build a bridge across an often-stormy sea to a shore that was previously farther and brighter. It is as if someone had finally given you subtitles for a film of your life and your personality so that you can understand it. The people who taught you may have been wrong or misinformed about their advice, maybe this way of thinking was not yours. If your only guide to understanding your emotions is already a reaction to things, then is it surprising that you sometimes feel like you dont have total control?
NLP offers you a different perspective and new ways to understand and manage the things that can happen in new and old situations that arise in our lifetime. It also gives you the strength to take control of your life, recognize, and act on the decisions you can make.
Imagine being shown the stairs of life and when you have mastered it, just looking at your feet face to face, as if that was all you had learned. This leads you there, but you dont know where or why youre going or understand your goal or destination.
Imagine how wonderful it would be if someone suddenly took you to an escalator, where you could look and see exactly where you were going and be able to look around and enjoy the view.
Have you ever looked at someone you know or just a stranger on the street and thought, Im as smart as they are, so how do they do it better?
This is how NLP began in the 1970s. Two colleagues, a computer programmer and a professor of linguistics, studied some of the most successful people in the United States from all walks of life. They only saw what distinguished them as experience and their life. Just that they did things differently!
The results found in response to this question formed the basis of what we now know as NLP. There is nothing strange in that, and it is not a cult to which you subscribe, nor more than some technicians, full of jargon instructions taken from the manual of a psychiatrist of social workers in 1950 or 1970.
If you feel like youre walking on water or its time to take control of your life and start achieving what you want, then NLP is perfect for you.
The key to strong leadership
Effective communication is important in the business world. Presentations, meetings, and negotiations are essential. A good leader must be a good clear communicator. Often, those who communicate well rise to the top, while those who are more precarious are left behind. There are many methods available today to improve communication for those who do not understand it naturally. Hypnosis and neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) are aimed at improving communication skills by attracting the unconscious and reprogramming the mind to focus on positive thoughts.
An ineffective communicator is one who thinks of language, presentation, and message. By focusing strongly on the following, a weak communicator often finds what he/she is saying in the present. This leads to misunderstandings and unsuccessful representations or representations. Nervousness, stress, and insecurity are traits that a leader often displays, making them an ineffective communicator outside of work. Because they are so focused on themselves, a weak communicator excludes the public and often ignores their reactions.
