PRAISE FOR RAISING MEN, NOT BOYS
Christians understand that God created human beings as male and femalefor His glory and for our good. The differences between the sexes are not matters of evolutionary accident, but are clear indications of Gods sublime and perfect design for human happiness. Yet in our age, confusing cultural signals have led many boys and young men to be uncertain and unaware of their masculinity and proper role in the home and in society. This brave new book by Mike Fabarez is a faithful guide for parents who want to raise their young boys to become true men. Full of Scripture-informed wisdom, this is a message parents and young boys need to hear. May God make us faithful as we seek to lead our boys to become true Christian men.

Raising Men, Not Boys is an absolutely brilliant look at specifics relevant to boys of all ages and the most complete book about raising boys Ive read. If your son is an infant, read it now. If he is older, read it now. Read sections out loud to him so he understands himself and why youre making the decisions you are. Underline sections, fold over page corners, and remember to come back to it again and again as your boys experience more of life. Moms should absolutely read this. Differences between boys and girls are very real! Dads should read it, too, of course. Your sons will become men motivated to live for God and equipped to glorify Him if you read, believe, and put into practice just the truths from . Mike Fabarezs explanation of the elements of the gospel and whats relevant for spiritual growth and wellness is the best Ive read. This chapter is worth the entire price of the book. Read it all, though. Youll be glad you did.

You can tell a lot about a man by the children he raises. Fabarezs sons tell a definitive story about an intentional father. Turning boys into men doesnt happen by accident. This character comes about by the shepherding of a devoted father. Others now have the chance to learn from him in Raising Men, Not Boys. Read this volume and join the ranks of intentional fathers.

Boys will be boys, but at some point they must be turned into men, godly men. In this book, Mike Fabarez provides a toolbox of biblical principles and patterns that will help todays parent to shape a generation of young men who embrace their masculinity, God-given calling, and need to follow the man Christ Jesus.
