Many of you have been mismanaged and even mistreated by the health-care system and by providers who generally have just not been informed enough about this disorder to provide you with a proper evaluation and treatment. Some of you have even had your sincerity doubted; you have been told that your problems are all in your head and that there is nothing really wrong with you.
