INTRODUCTION

This book is just a glimpse into the world of angels, saints, ascended masters, gods, goddesses, and deities. There are thousands of spiritual icons. Availing yourself of their wisdom can be a fun and exciting process. Getting to know them is certainly enjoyable and enlightening. Working with them on a regular basis can vastly improve the quality of your life and facilitate your spiritual explorations.

Make them your friends. Talk to them, ask for their help, allow them to join you as you journey through your life, moving toward greater freedom, joy, and love. They are certainly more than willing to help you. As soon as you ask and are willing to accept their aid, they will be there. They always respect your free will. They will never impose themselves on you.

Just as a trip around the world changes a person, your life can be transformed by working with these beings from all over the globe. You really can get to know them. Imagine they are your new neighbors. Spend time with them, talk to them, ask them questions, and see what happens.

Read about each of the entities and, when you have a specific problem, ask the one you feel the most comfortable with to help you. The more you use this book, the more benefits you will receive. These beings are just waiting for you to give them permission to help you, so ask for their help and open your heart and your mind to receive their wonderful guidance. The more familiar you become with them, the easier it will be to know whom to call on.

Begin by spending a few minutes each day tuning in. Meditation is such an easy process, yet we can make it so complicated and downright hard. The easiest way to meditate is to follow your breath. Just notice your breathing. Your mind will think; thats what it does. To successfully meditate, let your mind think but keep bringing your attention back to your breath.

The saints meditated and prayed for hours a day. I doubt you have that much time, but I am sure you could set aside fifteen or twenty minutes each day. Spiritual practices do take practice, so allow yourself to practice quieting your mind and allow it to be easy and enjoyable. If you avoid judging the process, you can actually enjoy learning to meditate. After you have focused your attention on your breath for a few minutes, ask one of the saints or angels or deities to work with you, and then allow yourself to feel their presence. I can guarantee you they will be there as soon as you call on them, but it may take you some time to feel their presence or hear their guidance. With a bit of practice, you will be amazed at how comforting and empowering it can be to work with these beings.

Be gentle and loving with yourself as you begin to open up to their presence. At any given moment, your mind is filtering out literally hundreds of pieces of information. If it didnt, you would be so overwhelmed by all the input you wouldnt be able to function. For a moment, focus your attention on your sense of sound. Listen to all of the noises in your world that you werent even conscious of. Listen for the wind outside and the sounds of your house or your neighborhood. Listen carefully until you can hear your own heartbeat. Once you focus your attention on your hearing, it is amazing what you unconsciously tune out.

As you begin to focus your attention on the angels, saints, ascended masters, gods, goddesses, and deities, youll find the same thing happening. Those entities have always been there, just at the edge of your reality, waiting for you to invite them into your life. Listen for their gentle whispers. Take the time to patiently listen.

You can create a ceremony or ritual to get in touch with them. A ceremony or ritual is a sacred act. It is something you do mindfully and with a specific purpose in mind. It can be complex or very simple. You can light a candle, say a prayer, or create a sacred space in your home dedicated to honoring the angels, saints, and deities. Decide what feels right to you and go with it. What might feel appropriate one day may not the next day, so remain open and flexible. Follow your heart and listen to your inner wisdom.

Let the gods guide you. Open the book randomly and see who wants to work with you today. Above all, allow yourself to enjoy the process. I had a T-shirt that said, Angels fly because they take themselves lightly. May the beings in this book help you take yourself lightly, fly high, and enjoy your life.

May you feel the presence of all the celestial love and guidance that always surrounds you, and may your life be filled with magic and miracles.

ARCHANGELS & ANGELS

Archangels and angels are spiritual beings whose primary function is to act as intermediaries between mortals and God. Angels have fascinated human beings for millennia.

Angels are always willing to be of assistance. They love you and want you to be happy. They will never interfere in your life unless you ask for their assistance. Angels cant do anything for you directly, but they can guide you, make suggestions, and help you avoid potential obstacles. In return, they simply ask that you deepen your connection with your spirit and open your heart to the powerful forces of love and gratitude.

Surprisingly, the angelic realms are structured and have hierarchies. Depending on the tradition, there are many levels and numerous categories. The term archangel comes from the Greek word archangelos, which means chief or eminent messenger. They are also known as the Holy Ones.

When you are working with the angels, take some time to get to know them. Each one has a unique personality, and each one has an area they excel in. Once you get to know them, you will instinctively know whom to call on. Allow them to become your friends, and become familiar with all of them. Once you develop the habit of calling on them, you will find it becomes almost second nature to acknowledge their presence and welcome their assistance. They are more than willing to help you, so why not let them?
