... themanuscript review and commendation from four close professional friends
It is often said that if you want a job to be done efficiently, and quickly, ask a busy person to do it. Because the Lord broughttheir names to mind, their love for Jesus Christ, and their desire tosee rejection sufferers set free, each one willingly gave time theycould ill afford, and have given valuable advice and a generouscommendation. I owe each one my very sincere thanks.

PrincipalEmeritus Stewart R. Dinnen ma, mbe , frgs . Words are inadequate containers for warmth of feeling whenused to express appreciation to Stewart Dinnen for two reasons. Firstly, this is the fourth book manuscript he hascheerfully read and played a major part in editing in the past eightyears, despite his schedule being always ready to burst at the seams. Hehas been constantly on the move, lecturing, teaching, advising, writing, and reading others manuscripts while continuing to administer theinternational office of the Worldwide Evangelisation Crusade. After living in London, England for five years as GeneralSecretary to WEC Intl, Stewart and his wife Marie have now returned tolive in Tasmania, while continuing to act as advisors to the internationalleaders of the mission, and maintaining a busy schedule of travelling, andBible teaching. Maries Bible study materials known asWORD WORLDWIDE, are used extensively in many countries.
It was Stewart Dinnen who actually put awriters pen in the authors hand during times of teaching evangelism atWorldview, WECs Australian Missionary Training College. So anotherbook will be a fitting punishment, or reward! Having taken fulltheological training for the Presbyterian ministry (but declining ordination),I am sure I gave him theological indigestion at times with some biblicalexegesis, but he has always been gracious, and tolerant. I am more thangrateful for his generous assistance in making the book concise, morereadable, and biblically accurate. No one could have been more qualifiedacademically, spiritually, or practically having been the principal ofWECs Glasgow College for 8 years, and the Tasmanian College for 18 years.
Secondly, it seemed so right to invite Stewart Dinnen to write the foreword for this final book of the trilogy on the subject ofhow Jesus Christ provides freedom from the oppressions of the evilone. Over the years he has spontaneously, generously, and faithfully
helped me. As a friend, he has been, and is the very best. Iappreciate his scintillating sense of humour ,frankness, encouragement, and the generous commendation of his foreword. I honour him, and praise God for his dedication to servethe King of Kings, and his fellow servants. And so, Stewart, even ifinadequately, I express my deepest gratitude to you.
... theuse of the New International Version in biblical references The author wishes to express gratitude to the New YorkInternational Bible Society, for biblical quotations from The HolyBible, New International Version, copyright 1973, 1978, 1984, NewYork International Bible Society.
Dedication
With joyfulness, I dedicate this book to Phyl ,my precious partner of over 45 years. She has immeasurably blessed me by herdedication, patience, and support, and by her frank but alwaysloving evaluation of my lifestyle and writings. Above all, she hasblessed me by her beautiful love, faithful intercession, and partnershipas we have ministered to the needs of many precious lives.
Without rejection, she helped me overcome mine; withoutselfishness, she has always been an example of Christs selflessness; andwithout compromise, she has always made me feel second in her lifespriorities. By mutual agreement, Jesus Christ has been made Lord, and honoured as such as the first priority of our marriageand ministry.
