About the Author
For two decades Shelley A. Kaehr, PhD, has worked with thousands of people around the world, helping them achieve greater peace and happiness in their lives.
Her past life regression process has been endorsed by Dr. Brian Weiss, who called her work an important contribution to the field of regression therapy.
A world traveler, Shelley believes the soul longs to return to places from prior incarnations. She coined the term Supretrovie to describe sudden recollections of prior lives while traveling, and she believes all people, whether they consciously remember it or not, have flashbacks from prior lives while going about their daily business.
Shelley received her PhD in Parapsychic Science from the American Institute of Holistic Theology in 2001. She is a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and Trainer and lives near Dallas, Texas. She truly believes we all have the ability to make positive changes and live the life of our dreams.

Acknowledgments
This book is dedicated to the thousands of souls Ive had the privilege of working with throughout my career, and to all who seek to discover deep meaning from their past. With any project of this magnitude, I could not have completed this book with-out the help of a huge team of people, and the loving support from friends and family. I owe an enormous debt of gratitude to Angela Wix, who believed in the project from the beginning and without whom this book would not exist. To Bill Krause, Terry Lohmann, Kat Sanborn, Jake-Ryan Kent, Annie Burdick, Lynne Menturweck, Patti Frazee, Sami Sherratt, Leah Madsen, Sammy Penn, Shannon McKuhen, Anna Levine and the rest of the incredible team at Llewellyn, I am eternally grateful for your support. Special thanks and kudos to my family and friends, including Jim Merideth, Pat Moon, Paula Wagner, and Karen Wiley.
Introduction
I met my karma the moment I came into this world kicking and screaming. I was healthy at birth, but at two and a half weeks old I suddenly became gravely ill. Doctors said my kidneys had shut down for no apparent reason and told my parents to brace for the worst. A month into my hospital stay, the doctors sent me home to die. On a soul level, I didnt seem particularly thrilled to be here this time. Then my grandmother suddenly passed away and a miracle happened: All my vitals inexplicably returned to normal. The kidney diagnosis could never be proven. Once I recovered, doctors found no clinical evidence that anything was ever wrong with me at all.
Years later when I became a professional past life regression therapist, I discovered that in my most recent incarnation before this one I was an alcoholic drug addict, born in the 1940s, and died in the 1960s of kidney failure. I came screeching right back into mortality in 1967 because I had some tough lessons to learn and things to do here in this lifetime.
Astrologically speaking, I was born with the Sun in my sixth house, which is not ideal for health. While astrology offers a good roadmap of what we come here as souls to work on, I managed to overcome all of these challenges with a combination of past life regression, energy work, and meditationall of the methods you will read about in this book.
My belief in reincarnation started in childhood, after my mother attended a luncheon with guest speaker Virginia Tighe, the subject of one of the most famous past life regression cases in history, The Search for Bridey Murphy . If youre not familiar with this book, Tighe suffered from severe allergies and explored several remedies but nothing worked, so she tried hypnosis. Regressing back to her childhood helped some but never completely resolved the problem. The frustrated hypnotherapist finally asked her to go back to the source event where her allergies first started. To everyones surprise, she zipped back into her former incarnation in nineteenth-century Ireland, where she recounted incredibly specific details about her life as Bridey Murphy.
