Foreword

Nona Jones is a gift to the kingdom of God, to you, and to me. Her life story is one that reminds us all that no matter how we start out in life, we can finish good. While we may not be able to rewrite our history, we can certainly change the narrative going forward. Nothing can hold us back from fulfilling the plans and purposes God has for our lives when we yield to him. Our lives redeemed by God can be an inspiration to others so that they can finish good too.

As a mother in the faith, I get so excited when I see young women like Nonawomen who have overcome, who have true character and integrity, who are passionate to help others find the freedom that is found only in Christ. I am moved by her heart and inspired by her overcoming spirit.

I am so grateful for how she discoveredmuch like I did in my own lifethat just because we might come from a background that is painful or difficult or where the odds are stacked against us, none of us have to accept a life of defeat.
