The Unspoken transforms the meaning of suffering from a detrimental emotion into a necessary (albeit unwelcome) step to overcoming the roadblocks hindering success in ones personal and professional life. Kudos to Ashley Haseotes for this achievement and for having the courage to share her story.
Dominique Easley, Former NFL Player,
Super Bowl Champion, and Mental Health
and Wellness Advocate
The Unspoken is a beautiful testament to one womans journey of transforming confusion and wounds into clarity and love. Healing is the single most important purpose of our Lives here on Earth.
Elaine M. Grohman, Energy Healer, Intuitive,
Educator, Author, and Radio Host, whose Life is dedicated
to helping others understand the true meaning of Healing
The emerging power after awakening creates immense courage to [pass on] your learnings and discoveries onto others. Recognizing the causes and sources of debilitating trauma, Ashley shows her readers how to overcome it. She lays bare her pathway to inner peace, helping to inspire others to begin their own journey. Welcome Home.
Rev. Dr. Temple Hayes, Mystic, Spiritual Leader,
and Difference Maker
The Unspoken is a powerful example of self-healing in action. Ashley shows us how chronic physical pain and crippling anxiety can be rooted in unresolved psychological trauma and how we all have the ability to transform our lives.
Dr. Nicole LePera, The Holistic Psychologist
and Author of How To Do The Work
Healing childhood trauma is not for the faint of heart. Ashleys courage jumps off every page as the reader rides this roller coaster of processing pain and finding purpose in the mental and physical manifestations of it. Her vulnerability invites the reader to consider their own self-examination to reconcile their past and present. The layers of loss surrounding her own sons battle with cancer and the death of her niece break your heart until Ashely stitches it back together on this redemptive journey. A triumphant work of love and loss, connection and abandonment, self-discovery and self-love.
Wendy Tamis Robbins, Coach, Speaker, and Best-selling
Author of The Box: An Invitation to Freedom from Anxiety
There are few people in your life that you really connect with the way that Nancy and Ashley did. Ashley is [one of the most] open and honest people you will ever meet, and her story is one that will catch your attention like she is sitting across from you having a coffee.
Taylor Twellman, ESPN analyst and Founder
of ThinkTaylor.Org
The Unspoken is a compelling story of faith, trust, and determinationenergies not often present when people face a crisis (or crisis after crisis). Ashleys honesty and integrity speak to the opportunities found when challenges are met with faith and determination. Readers will find inspiration and courage to face lifes challenges, which are actually opportunities, knowing that possibilities are available to all when there is trust and belief in your own powers, and you use your will, faith, and patience to continue to move forward. Ashleys honest disclosure of her life experiences solicits a curiosity of what is next... and just at the right moment, the curiosity is met by a reflection of Ashleys courage, strength, and faith, even in the most challenging of times. The Unspoken provides inspiration to all as we journey through lifes challenges and opportunities, and I highly recommend it!

Authors Note
T rauma comes in so many different forms that its near impossible to keep count, and theres not a single one of us who hasnt endured it on some level.
You can experience trauma firsthand, witness anothers trauma, or be traumatized by hearing someone talk about their trauma. Losing a job is traumatic. Long-term prolonged job stress and how we internalize and perceive our safety within this confine can be trauma as well. The news can traumatize people, as can movies with deep emotional plots. Even a global pandemic can trigger trauma in some people.
Oftentimes, people dont even have language for the trauma they have experienced. They may simply describe their situation as tough or difficult without knowing that their body and nervous system are indeed traumatized. In fact, that is precisely what I did.
