T he unmistakable testimony of scripture is that prayer works, anytime and everywhere. This statement might bother some people who have been praying for years with no tangible results. However, the Scriptures say, let every man be a liar and God be true (see Rom. 3:4). From Genesis to Revelation, God has not changed His primary form of communication with mankind. It is through the vehicle of prayer. Jesus lends His support to the importance of prayer when He declares, in the eighteenth chapter of Lukes Gospel, men always ought to pray and not lose heart (Luke 18:1 NKJV). The reality is that God always answers prayer, even when it seems as though the heavens above us are closed and God is silent.

In my study of prayer for more than two decades I have come to the sobering conclusion that most prayers are not answered because theyre prayed from the wrong spiritual disposition. In other words, they are prayed amiss! This is why I decided after many years of constant prodding from my wife to write a book on prayer. I will demonstrate to you that all New Testament praying is categorized in three different realms of prayer. Unfortunately, many Christians only know one or two of these realms of prayer. One of the biggest missing links in the global prayer movement is how to pray effectively from the Courts of Heaven. The absence of this prayer link has resulted in much unanswered prayer.

Thankfully, that mystery is revealed and solved in this powerful book. I chose to call this book Dangerous Prayers from the Courts of Heaven that Destroy Evil Altars because I have loaded this book with powerful and strategic prayers that are designed to help you hit the mark. I wrote this prayer book with the hundreds of thousands of people in mind who are suffering from the tyranny and frustration of unanswered prayers. To be honest, some Christians stopped praying and threw in the towel a long time ago. If the truth be told, many Christians do not pray much except at meals. Some people dont know how to pray effectively because they dont know what to say in the place of prayer. This book solves these challenges for disfranchised Christians everywhere and in every sphere.

I have divided this book into two sections. Section One lays a biblical foundation for how to pray and explains the three realms of prayer that all believers have access to. The second section of this book is what I call the book of dangerous prayers. The section is loaded with well-designed prayers for securing spiritual breakthroughs in any area of your life. Men Ought to Pray Always!

Now Jesus was telling the disciples a parable to make the point that at all times they ought to pray and not give up and lose heart.

Luke 18:1

T o say the subject of prayer is an important aspect of living in the Kingdom is truly an understatementits more like prayer is to spiritual life what oxygen is to the human body! Knowing this essential relationship between prayer and living effectively in the Kingdom of God, Jesus declares, Men ought to pray at all times and not lose heart! With this one blanket statement Jesus forever endorsed prayer, everywhere and under all circumstances, as the primary means for engaging God and releasing answers to lifes most perplexing problems. My late spiritual mentor Dr. Myles Munroe in his bestselling book on prayer defines prayer as such: Prayer is an earthly license for heavenly interference. E.M. Bounds declares, Without prayer man cannot and without prayer God will not! You will fully understand this last statement in the next chapter.

Jesus life on earth is a classic example of a man totally dependent on divine resources that are available to anyone willing to pay the price to wait on God in the place of prayer. To this end the writer of the book of Hebrews describes Jesus earthly prayer life as follows:

In the days of His earthly life, Jesus offered up both [specific] petitions and [urgent] supplications [for that which He needed] with fervent crying and tears to the One who was [always] able to save Him from death, and He was heard because of His reverent submission toward God [His sinlessness and His unfailing determination to do the Father
