Radiant Women of Color

The Fortune of Being Yourself

Think and Grow Beautiful

I wasnt born empowered, but I was born to be empowered.

Due to the fast-paced popularity of my previous book, 10 Bad Choices That Ruin Black Womens Lives, I had to do this natural follow-up right away. It is important for you to first identify, and then release yourself from, the bad choices. Once youve done that, then let go and move onward and upward. Ive tried to personally answer the hundreds of letters Ive received from sisters across the country. A few are included here. For the ones I was unable to answer right away, please let this book serve as my personal letter of empowerment to you. I promise that if you make the good choices here, you will become a magnificent force to behold.

This is dedicated to youwhove decided to empower yourself in this lifetime.

It is truly amazing how God works. When He said, Ask and it shall be given, He wasnt kidding. I asked to be surrounded by a group of loving, kind, and supportive people who would be a plus on my path of empowerment. And thats exactly what I got.

introduction

I had to write this book. I had to write it because Ive seen sisters working so hard to make it in life, yet they cant seem to get past bad memories and move ahead. I had to write it because Ive seen too many sisters let bad relationships ruin their lives and let other people run their lives.
