Hi Im Tobias.
My life has been full of ups and downs. I am a living proof that you can overcome your biggest fears and achieve anything you want in life as long as you just have the courage to take the first step and not give up. I spent most of my teens and twenties depressed, lonely and on strong antidepressants. By age 27, I had given up on ever overcoming my social anxiety & shyness.
Even worse than that, I had given up on myself. I was my own worst enemy, always calling myself harsh names like loser and ugly. I hated myself and didnt believe I was worth very much. I thought I was weak and broken for having social anxiety and felt inferior to just about everyone in the world.
Like most people, I grew up believing the narrative we are sold by society. You were born confident or you werent. You were good with people or you werent. You either have it or you dont, and I certainly didnt, better luck next lifetime. I am here to shatter that myth for you. To show you that you can overcome social anxiety and be anyone you want to be.

This was the first exercise on the first day of a Summer long program I joined - at no small expense - to build my confidence and competence with the opposite sex and I was considering dropping out before we even got started.

So I walked over, heart pounding in my chest, and mustered up all the courage I could.

This was going to be a long Summer.

Fast forward 8 weeks and not only had I initiated conversations with well over 1,000 girls, some of which (fortunately) lasted more than 5 seconds, but I had completely transformed everything I thought I knew about social dynamics and human interaction. And in the years since I became a dating and confidence coach myself, working with hundreds of guys all around the world to help them overcome social anxiety and express themselves more confidently and congruently in all aspects of life.

Ive worked with former U.S. Special Forces operatives who said they wouldnt think twice about running towards the sound of live ammunition, but couldnt muster the courage to give a girl a compliment. And Ive worked with successful entrepreneurs and executives who manage teams of hundreds of people, but couldnt figure out why they were still single and lonely. It is a surprising phenomenon that something as simple as talking to a stranger can strike fear into the heart of the battle hardened and business savvy. But it turns out that the fear of rejection can be more powerful than the threat of clear and present danger.

Looking beyond the realm of dating and relationships, the reality is that a great many people experience social anxiety in some shape or form. Rationally it may not make any sense, and its easy to resort to platitudes like If it doesnt work out, youll be in the same place you are now .
