FOREWORD
The Gospels and the Liturgy keep our attention focused very often on the life, times and feasts of Jesus. For this reason, many of our brothers and sisters today tend to forget the Most Holy Trinity. We should remember that our God is a Trinity of persons, namely Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
God has sent the spirit of his son into our hearts, we also admit that 'Jesus is Lord'. This profession of faith is possible only in the Holy Spirit: to be in touch with Christ, we must first have been touched by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit comes into our life and kindles faith in us. If we are to enrich ourselves fully on this revelation, brought to us by Jesus the Son of God, then we must keep in mind that we have a heavenly Father, an incarnate and resurrected son and also a sanctifying spirit.
As you use this booklet during this Novena and daily reflections there in for each day of the novena may you filled with the gifts of the Holy Spirit, the weapons of our warfare that can destroy any force of the devil. I pray also that you will be enriched fully especially to those who are thirsting for the Holy Spirit to touch their lives and to make them. Spiritually alive once more.

The importance of Devotion to the Holy Ghost
The doctrine of the Holy Ghost is without doubt the most important of all the Church's teachings because, if we do not know and love the Holy Ghost, we cannot possibly understand the other great truths of our Holy Religion. Without the Holy Ghost we are blind.
Not only is this doctrine the most important, it is the most wonderful, the most consoling, the most sublime of all doctrines, for with the Holy Ghost we can do all things easily and well. He is the Spirit of Love, of Peace, of Joy, the Spirit of Divine Consolation. He is the Light of Our Souls and the Strength of Our Wills. Yet, strange to say, this doctrine is little under stood by great numbers of Christians. Some have a vague knowledge of the Holy Ghost, but very few indeed have a real grasp of all the Holy Ghost has done for them and is most ready to do if only they allow Him.
We love and honor the Eternal Father whenever, we say the Our Father, and this not once, but many times a day. Whenever, too we speak of the Great Creator of Heaven and Earth, the God of the Universe, we think of the Eternal Father.
We pray to the Son, not only when invoking the Blessed Trinity, but when praying to Our Lord Jesus Christ. We honor His incarnation, his Lite, His Passion and death. We honor His Sacred Heart, His Holy Name, and above all we honor Him in the Holy Eucharist.
But many rarely or ever think of the Holy Ghost! But THE Holy Spirit is the greatest gift God has given to mankind, his spirit to dwell with us forever as the scriptures said. Invoke him today through this novena and daily reflection to give his peace which the world cannot give, his immense joy, and his consolations. And his everlasting love and presence.
