Did you know that theres an Encyclopedia of the Psychological Complexes that sorts over 100 types of existing core patterns of emotions, perceptions, and wishes in the subconscious? Im sure youve heard of some of them: The God Complex, the Oedipus complex, the Hero Complex, the Don Juan Complex, the Superiority Complex, the Cleopatra Complex, etc. But none can be so devastating to the progress of the Christian life as the Grasshopper Complex which derives from the grasshopper mentality that has plagued Christians and non-Christians alike since the beginning of time.

Sometimes we can feel it crouching around waiting to pounce. It strikes when we want to do something new, when we have a breakthrough, when we are looking to get ahead. It is as chilling as a cold wind in a graveyard. It is the greatest tool that the enemy employs to constantly wage battle against us and separate us from our destiny. It may appear disguised as intimidation, rejection, threats, belittling, and deception against your self-worth and perception.

However, God designed every one of us for greatness; we are adequately imbued with it to the core of our being. When the enemy assails us with fear, it becomes quite difficult to believe in or activate the greatness in us that God has embedded.

If we are going to excel as Ambassadors of Christ and further establish His Kingdom in this next era, the current generation requires a distinct apostolic and prophetic voice that redirects the hearts and minds of Christians away from fear and toward faith. It requires a voice that breaks the spirit of fear through an understanding of strategic breakthrough warfare so that were no longer paralyzed and held captive by fear. It is my opinion that Bishop Senyo Bulla is one of those voices.
