Collection: What the Bible Says About
If this is your first contact with this collection, I welcome you first! May God speak deeply to you through each page. May the Holy Spirit ever widen the reach of your spiritual eyes.
This collection consists of the elucidation of certain subjects based on the Holy Bible. Currently the Church of Jesus is partially divided in ideas. We all classify ourselves as Christians, but I notice that there is still a lack of unity of faith.
A nd he appointed some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare the saints for the work of the ministry, that the body of Christ may be edified, until we all attain to unity faith and knowledge of the Son of God, and come to maturity, reaching the measure of the fullness of Christ.
- Ephesians 4:11-13 (emphasis added)
It was for this reason that the need arose to clarify some points based on what the Scriptures say, far from any exclusive or special human interpretation. The Bible is the complete and sufficient revelation of the gospel for man, therefore, any addition on the part of the human being is secondary and must be invalidated if it proves to be heretical.
If anyone takes away a word from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his part in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.
- Revelation 22:19
All Scripture is inspired by God and useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
- 2 Timothy 3:16,17
Feel free to check each of the topics in this work in your own Bible. With your own eyes discover the truths revealed by the Lord and renew your way of thinking. Good studies!
Do not fail to speak the words of this Book of the Law and to meditate on them day and night, so that you may faithfully fulfill all that is written in it. Only then will your ways prosper and you will be successful.
- Joshua 1:8

Let's study!
The first time marriage is mentioned
T he first time marriage is mentioned in the Bible, even if indirectly, is in chapter 2 of Genesis.
With the rib that he had taken from the man, the Lord God made a woman and brought her to him.
Then the man said, "This, yes, is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh! She will be called woman, because out of man she was taken."
- Genesis 2:22-23
What is marriage?
This is the Father's original idea: to unite man and woman in one flesh, even if, physically, they remain in different bodies. In other words, marriage is the first institution of humanity.
Did not the Lord make them one [husband and wife]? In body and in spirit they belong to you. And why just one? Because he desired consecrated offspring. So beware: Let no one be unfaithful to the wife of his youth.
- Malachi 2:15 (emphasis added)
So they are no longer two [husband and wife], but one flesh. Therefore, what God has joined together, let no one separate.
- Matthew 19:6
Furthermore, still in the 2nd chapter of Genesis, God gives clear instruction to the man who marries.
For this reason, a man will leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they will become one flesh.
- Genesis 2:24
The Lord's will for His creature, then, is this: to fully unite with one's spouse and nurture one's own intimacy and privacy, so that there is respect on the part of the parents.
Would it be wrong to continue living with the parents even though they were married?
The Lord's command is clear, "he shall leave his father and mother." Obviously here God does not refer to helplessness, because if that were so, we would have to annul one of the famous ten commandments given by the Father to Moses.
Honor your father and your mother, that you may live long in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.
- Exodus 20:12
However, the Father's perfect will is for the couple to have their own space, intimacy and privacy. wise order! Unsurprisingly, most couples who allow parental invasion of privacy result in various marital problems.
For this reason, a man will leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they will become one flesh.
- Genesis 2:24 (emphasis added)
Can staying single until death displease God?
It depends. If God's plan for your life is for you to live exclusively for the work of the Lord and not get married, the Holy Spirit will show you clearly and the carnal desires related to marriage will be nullified.
I wish all men were like me [single]; but each has his own gift from God; one in one way, the other in another.
