Preface

T his book is evidence of how God turned the authors pains of life-threatening experiences into a powerful testimony of an overcomer. The authors encounter with an attack of death changed her focus in life. This book is a call to you, the reader. God loves you. He wants to save you, and he will keep all of his promises to you. He is calling you to be empowered to overcome the troubles in the world through him and be ready for his second coming.

This book is a call to all overcomers to keep their faith and focus on Jesus, to submit to him daily, and to be battle-ready to engage victoriously in spiritual warfare in their apostolic war rooms as a unified force against the Antichrist and all demonic forces.

This book is a call for the unity of Gods church regardless of denominational, traditional, and racial barriers. Gods church is one. It is one Lord, one faith, one baptism (Eph. 4:46). Overcomers are called to know the vastness of Jesuss power, and we are assured that we are joint heirs with Jesus in the most expansive evangelistic revival in human history. We are spreading the message of Jesuss victory, grace, mercy, redemption, and salvation. He is the true source of answers to problems, victory in every battle, and provision for every need. Jesus is commander in chief in the end-time spiritual warfare. Overcomers must remain totally committed to him, moving by faith and in obedience to his instructions. He will empower the people of his church as spiritual stealth bombers and fighter vessels fueled by the Holy Spirit.

Empowered to Overcome serves as a guidebook for becoming empowered to overcome. It presents a chart that is organized for your study and will help you know Jesus in the vastness of his infinite power. You will see yourself as a joint heir with him and realize the power of his love, grace, and mercy. He allows an unworthy human of poverty to become a member of eternal royalty with rights, authority, and privileges with the King of kings, the great God Almighty! Share this book with all those who want to become overcomers. Share it with your children and grandchildren, friends and enemies. Read this book with the Holy Bible by your side so you can reference the scriptures. Let the blessings of the Lord meet every need you have in Jesuss name.

I t is important for you to know and believe that God loves you. You do not earn his love. He gives his love freely to you. When you receive his love by faith, you can be empowered to overcome all tragic situations and battles you face in life. Accept it by faith.

Gods Love Is Extended to All Who Will Receive It

God loves you! Wherever and whoever you are, God loves you. You cannot buy his love. He gives it to you freely. He manifested himself in the flesh to pay the price for your salvation. He wants you to be saved, and whoever believes in Jesus should not be destroyed but have continuous life. That includes you. God invites you to accept the invitation to be empowered by him to overcome the pain, suffering, disappointments, strife, fear, terrorism, natural disasters, and strongholds of bondage to sin that the enemy of your soul uses to make you depressed and unhappy. God has made for you a clear pathway to an eternal life of happiness.

The zenith of love for God came in human flesh to redeem you through Jesus, the Lamb of God. It was the blood of Jesus that allowed you the opportunity to have the strongholds over your life destroyed. Those strongholds may include a variety of things such as drug addiction, unforgiveness, sexual sins, mental illness, physical illness, poverty, strife, unbelief, hate, revenge, greed, lies, deceit, and many more. There are many strongholds that may cause you to have internalize pain, unhappiness, loneliness, and feelings of unworthiness. And they may sometimes make you feel like giving up on life. You may look at so much war, murder, senseless terrorism, poverty, and suffering that you think there is no hope. This book is a direct message to you. God loves you. No matter how much evil you see in the world, there is hope for you to be safe and victorious in Jesus. He is a God who will do what he said he would do. He said that if you confess your sins, he will be faithful, forgive your sins, and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

You may be sitting in a jail cell, mental ward, or homeless shelter. Other people may call you a criminal, crazy, no good, worthless, or a castaway. Jesus loves you. He paid the price for you to be saved too. You can communicate to God right where you are. You can confess your faults directly to him, repent, and ask him to save you. He is a God who knows your heart. He knows your sincere desire and cares for you like no human can. When people reject you, he invites you to come closer to him. He can turn everything around when you believe his Word and obey him.

You can overcome depression, rejection, abuse, and confusion. You are loved by God, no matter what others may say, and salvation is free for you to receive. When you submit yourself to God, you will not be rejected. You will gain a closer relationship with God through prayer, fasting, and study of his Word. More importantly, you will build this relationship through obeying Gods Word. When you talk with God, you can pour out the depths of your inner pain and frustration and trust him 100 percent. You dont have to hesitate or wonder how to express yourself.

You can admit your weakness and mistakes. You can rely on God to help you forgive those who have hurt you and take the hate away. You can rely on him to make your weak points strong and cleanse you of your secret faults. There are faults you dont realize you have, but God knows what they are. You dont have to work to be good enough to serve the Lord. God saved the apostle Paul, and he murdered Christians before he was saved. The apostle Paul referred to himself as the chief of sinners. After God turned Paul around on the road to Damascus, he became a friend. God can become your best friend, Savior, provider, peace, protector, righteousness, and the source of everything you need.
