ENDORSEMENTS
It is such a privilege to endorse this book written by Joyce Euren on worship. I have known Joyce for thirteen years, and in that time, I would describe Joyce as hungry and desperate for more of HIS presence, and more of HIS flow in worship.
Joyce and I began playing worship together in the year 2000, and it always amazes me, how when the humble, are willing to listen and wait on HIM. The desperate always find themselves in the center of HIS presence.
God always is in the center of HIS peoples praises.
God delights in HIS people, who desperately seek HIS face, HIS presence, His Glory, His will, and also to minister unto HIM. This is the one characteristic I have seen in Joyce all these years, in that she gets lost in HIS presence. It is as though the hearer is taken on a journey with Joyce to the throne room.
The book is a reflection of the heart of worship that Joyce lives in. You have heard the expression, you are so heavenly minded, that you are no earthly good This is a picture of what you will be directed to as you read, becoming heavenly minded.
As I read this book, I was amazed how eloquently Joyce put into words, what is very hard to describe. It is very hard with English words to describe the manifest presence of God, and the very glory of God. As you read, you will be pierced in spirit, and a hunger, a longing, will begin to rise up in you, as you proclaim with your lips, That is what I want.Yes, I am right now trying to.
Listen, we cannot practice HIS presence, manufacture HIS presence, or be the best sounding worship on the planet. We only become MORE hungry for HIM, more desperate for HIM. One thing I have learned over the years, is that the desperate, are just that: desperate. And the desperate get results.
As you read this profound book, on time and in season, speak these words: God birth a hunger and a new found desperation in me, for more of YOU And allow this book to present some common sense tools on how to remain in that place. I had the joy to read this book prior to its completion, and I encouraged Joyce, to continue on. There were many times as I read, I could only groan in my spirit.
You will enjoy this book. Bless you as you read.

I have had the privilege of participating in worship where Joyce Euren has played her flaming red violin. She truly carries an anointing for bringing others to the heart of the Father thru worship. In her book, The Way to Gods Heart through Worship, you too can enter into this anointing and experience a new depth of understanding of who HE is. You will never look at praise and worship the same again. This book is not only written from the heart, it is intelligent, transforming and will touch the reader deeply. If you are hungry for more of Gods presence in your life then read this! Thank you Joyce!

My wife and I travel all over the world sharing our music and storytelling, blending the Native American instruments and melodies together with a contemporary folk/rock sound. Joyce Euren encourages all cultures to find their own sound in worshiping our Great Creator and His Son Jesus. Americanized Christian worship music is NOT the sound for the whole world! In this practical and spiritual book Joyce brings us back to the heart of what it means to worship our Creator in Spirit and Truth. Her own example and the stories from her experiences provide the mentor and the student with a solid foundation, both Biblical and practical. I recommend this book to all who want to bring honor to our Great Creator through praise and worship.

I n the days of King Davids dominion, righteousness ruled out of Zion. God was pleased with David because of His devotion to the Lord and his desire to worship Him. David loved the presence of God, and God loved that about David. In Davids zeal to worship before the presence of God, he housed the ark of the covenant in an open tent and conscripted a twenty-four hour choral and instrumental ensemble to offer up continuous praises to the Lord. In fact, throughout history since the time of David, his manner of worship has been the pattern to which the people of God returned whenever there was a return to God. That pattern becomes crystal clear as we study the Biblical handbook on worship - the Psalms.
Why is that important? Jesus said the Father is seeking worshipers who will worship Him in spirit and truth. (John 4:23,24) A very important part of our corporate life together as the Church is our worship experience, yet most Christians do not realize all that the Scriptures have to say about it, nor the power that is released through praise and worship. The Scriptures give us various exhortations about worshiping God. Here are a few from the New Testament:
be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Ephesians 5:18-20
(and..) Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. Colossians 3:16
But the precedent was set from Old Testament times. One of the many directives regarding praise and worship is found in Psalms 95:1-3, 6-7
"Oh come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the LORD is the great God, And the great King above all gods... Oh come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the LORD our Maker. For He is our God, And we are the people of His pasture, And the sheep of His hand.
In 2 Chronicles 29:25-30 we see King Hezekiah directing the Levites regarding praise and worship, singing the songs of the Prophets. They also were singing the Psalms and words of Scripture.
"And he stationed the Levites in the house of the LORD with cymbals, with stringed instruments, and with harps, according to the commandment of David, of Gad the kings seer, and of Nathan the prophet; for thus was the commandment of the LORD by his prophets. The Levites stood with the instruments of David, and the priests with the trumpets. Then Hezekiah commanded them to offer the burnt offering on the altar. And when the burnt offering began, the song of the LORD also began, with the trumpets and with the instruments of David king of Israel. So all the assembly worshiped, the singers sang, and the trumpeters sounded; all this continued until the burnt offering was finished. And when they had finished offering, the king and all who were present with him bowed and worshiped. Moreover King Hezekiah and the leaders commanded the Levites to sing praise to the LORD with the words of David and of Asaph the seer. So they sang praises with gladness, and they bowed their heads and worshiped."
