Dedication

Well, this is my fifth book Im still blown away that we created book one, let alone book five!

While working on this book there were so many things going on in my personal life that I often wondered if I could actually find the time to make it happen and, to be honest, it was a struggle. Without the outstanding gift that is Donna Fleming, this book would never have come together. Donna is an exceptional writer, friend and role model. Her heart is always in the right place and I believe that she is not only a magic person but a true blessing to us all. Thanks Donna, youre a star!

As I say, over the course of the creation of this book my life was full-on, and at times it felt like all the walls were caving in on me. My personal assistant of three-and-a-half years moved on to greener pastures and I was left standing in my office, wondering what on earth to do as Id not driven the computer for so long. Fortunately Adele Woodward, a local Kerikeri lady Id known for four years, just so happened to be in the right place at the right time. Shed just left working for a big corporate company and had decided that, with a bit of faith, something would turn up. The evening we saw each other, Adele told me that she just left her job and was hoping to find something. Over a wine at a friends place, we caught up and her story unfolded. I said nothing but rather sat on the possibility. A few days later I called her and we have not looked back! A number of you will have met Adele by now, and Im sure youd agree that she is awesome and always friendly. She has a heart of gold and nerves of steel (apart from when shes on a plane!). Thanks for hanging with me, Dels.

My personal life took a bashing recently, too. My father was struck by a super bug that had him on his death bed but somehow, after an 80 percent chance of dying, he started to pull through. Hes now paralysed from the waist down and confined to his electric wheelie chair. Hes a hoon but hes alive.

Other aspects of my life were in turmoil, too, but I stayed as strong as I could. Its been a rough ride, but now the end of the tunnel is in sight and my dreams are almost reality.

To my kids Javan and Jade, thanks for being you. I love and adore you both. You guys lift me when times are tough and you always make me laugh just when I need it. Thanks, kids!

And, of course, to my mates, thanks for putting up with me and accepting me as I am. I am so grateful to have you all in my life.

Alan, you have always given me insight and you have shown me that its okay not to be okay and that life is what it is. Thanks for all the chats, pep talks and the kick in the butt at times!

This book is dedicated to spirit and our angels, who always guide and protect us. They deserve to have their story told, and Im happy they have chosen me to share it with you.

This is my access to heaven. I sincerely hope you, too, can see what Ive seen and go to the place I call home.

The inner journey for you starts now.

With love,

Kelvin

CHAPTER ONE
What if You Could Visit Heaven?

Nothing hurts quite like the pain of losing someone you love. It can feel like a knife through your heart. One of the hardest things to deal with is the thought that you will never see them again, never get to feel their touch or hear their laugh.

But what if you could still see them? What if you could sit down with your mum and chat about your day, like you always used to? What if you could hold your wee boy in your arms and feel his soft hair against your face?

What if you could tell your partner all the things you meant to say before they were killed in that accident, but didnt get the chance to because you were just so busy getting on with everyday life that you never got to talk about what really matters?

If I told you that you could do that, would you think, Uh-oh, Kelvins really lost the plot?

Talking to people who have died and are now in spirit is my calling in life, and Ive been doing it for as long as I can remember, although when I was a kid it really freaked me out.

But if I said you could do it too, without needing someone like me, would you think it was worth giving a try? What if I told you its possible for you to visit this incredible place called heaven and hang out with those youve lost? I couldnt be more serious.

First, let me make it clear that Im not talking about bringing them back in the physical way they were here before. Nobody can do that. Their physical body is gone.

But when their heart stopped beating, and their lungs stopped breathing, and their brain no longer sent out electrical impulses, there was a part of them that did not die their soul.

The part of them that made them the unique individual that they were lives on as spirit, and thats the part I can communicate with. Its the part you can connect with too, if you just know how. Thats something we can all do, and its what this book is all about. I can help give you access to heaven where your loved ones are and I can also help you understand why we are here in this life, where we go when it ends and what the whole purpose of our existence is.

Its pretty heavy stuff, I know, but I get asked about these great mysteries of life all the time, and since Ive been shown some of the answers by spirit, I figure Im meant to share.
