Acknowledgments
To all the beautiful souls that allowed me to be part of their earthly and heavenly journeys, I would like to extend my most sincere thanks and love. The desire to share their physical, emotional, social, and spiritual experiences will always be seared into my very essence, and I will not cease in sharing the wisdom and insight they selflessly revealed. In this way, their memories will never die, and the divine messages they have imparted, I am sure, will in some way affect all souls to accept that death is not to be feared, but fully embraced with the understanding that it is the beginning of an eternal life with our all-loving, all-forgiving, and non-condemning God.
First of all, to a true loving husband and father, Dad, I miss you and love you very much. I know I will see you at my bedside when God calls me back home. Mom, you are the epitome of passion, courage, integrity, devotion, and love. Mom and Dad, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for always being there for me and for the loving sacrifices you made so I would have the opportunity to realize the things God had sketched into my heart. To my two sisters, Ana and Carmen, my brother, Dr. Hector, and my two aunts, Dorina and Diane, what can I say except that I am in awe of the unconditional love we have for each other and how blessed we truly are. Your selfless attitudes have empowered me to love and forgive without condition, without judgment, and without condemnation.
I would also like to thank the angels in my life, Mark Daniel, Ariana Gabrielle, and Daniella Alyssa, for helping me write and edit these stories, as well as for taking time before and after school to help comfort many of my patients who were dying. Their selfless desire to help another human being will never be forgotten. I am so blessed to have such loving and compassionate children, and I thank God daily for allowing me to experience true, unabated, unconditional, and sacred love. Their mother, Ana Cuellar, and the matriarch of the family, Ino Cuellar, are truly gifts from God. Their love and support will never be forgotten.
Last but not least, to all the nurses who have devoted their lives in preparing both the terminally ill and their families for their long-awaited journey back home with God and all his angels. The following are some of these earth angels: Sheryl LeBaron, Brandi Zoeller, Richard Pare, Dee Elliott, Mary Lopez, Leslie Marks, Irma Rodea, Janice Turner, and Karen Merchant.
Most importantly, thank you Jesus for my children and family, for healing me, for forgiving me, for protecting me, for holding me, for carrying me, for loving me, and for using this book to open my eyes and heart to how much you really love all of us.

Introduction
Do you wonder what it will be like, or more importantly, what will happen to our consciousness after our bodies take their last breaths? As we depart this world, will we finally have the answers to all of mankinds questions? Will we come to fully realize that the Kingdom of God or heaven has always existed within us, around us, but never at a distance from us? Was Mary Magdalene right when she spoke of her awakening to Gods spirit being the principal element needed in creating heaven on Earth? If individual awakening is needed to fashion the presence of the heavenly realm amongst us, then is collective spiritual awakening the article of faith needed to usher in the second coming of Christ?
As in Into the Light, and now Learning From the Light, my patients continue conveying, selflessly and with great enthusiasm, a score of angelic messages that not only answer the previous questions, but, more importantly, instruct us on how to create heaven on earth. Most of my patients repeatedly talked about this latter theme and how by merely seeking reconciliation, self-forgiveness, and self-love, one would be able to shape their external and internal physical realm into that of the kingdom of heaven. One of my patients by the name of Katarina said it best: This joyful and more fruitful life is what the divine power of free-will within our souls can create. All one has to do is believe and choose. As easy as it seems to live a heavenly life while on earth, many choose to not believe and at the end of the day, they desire an earthly life. When one is dying like me, the filter to the next world is lifted at which point they are privy to the answer key of sorts to our earthly life exam and come to the final understanding of the Divine-driven personal and collective human purpose. If one can find self-forgiveness and self-love and reviews their life before releasing their spirit, their transition will be painless and exalting. The opposite is also true.
Since the release of Into the Light, countless readers have made inquiries into whether I have continued to document the patients angelic encounters and messages, and whether they elaborate on the two most important virtues essential for a peaceful transition: self-forgiveness and self-love. In response to these requests, I selected several angelic stories, which focused on the importance of self-forgiveness, self-love, and how learning to overcome ones self-serving ego allowed for the succession of ones divine virtues. Many of the angelic messages and life reviews emphasized the reconciliation of our two polar opposites, the ego and our divine-self. The ego was necessary for assuring our early survival as humans, and, as soon as our higher self began to develop, it assured one of an internal war of our selfish self versus our all-loving and all-forgiving higher self. It was this internal conflict or struggle that our religious leaders called our sinful egoistic nature versus our higher divine nature. As my patients stated, these two opposing sides, within every human being, were more commonly referred to as evil versus good.
My studies confirmed that a large number of terminally ill patients who lead selfish, hateful, jealous, bitter, guilt-ridden, and vengeful lives, often struggled with finding self-forgiveness and self-love. Those patients who seemingly had a peaceful transition from this world to the next were found to have attempted to live a life filled with humility, gentleness, kindness, and a desire to do good. It was for these reasons that I elected to share these findings and messages with the world. I wanted humanity to understand how to secure a joyful and tranquil journey back home. There was no doubt that to accomplish a peaceful transition both the mechanics of the human ego and our higher awareness required the comprehension of both the proliferation of this higher self, which secured our oneness with Gods spirit and all his souls, and the unyielding desire to love everything and everyone.
