Throughout my career, there has been one stand out question I have been asked time and time again by clients, followers, and friends. I want to learn how to feel, think, and be betterWhat book do you recommend to help me get started?
I always struggled to find a book that would help connect the dots in a simple way whilst not pulling any punches in terms of its true meaning. There are plenty of amazing books out there, but I just didnt have an answer that straight up called out to the person who wanted to learn, grow, and do more; but had a limited exposure to the world of personal development.
I wrote this book with the intention of it becoming a bridge that can take someone from surface level motivation into the amazing world of personal development. I have been a student and teacher in the personal development space since 2008 and I can honestly say if it werent for personal development, I would be unhappy, unhealthy, and miserable.
The personal development journey is an amazing one that brings so many insights, revelations, and breakthroughs. Im excited for what you will learn and discover for yourself. I promise to give you my truth and always keep your best interests at heart. I wont sugar coat my message because I understand how confusing and frustrating it can be. Life can sting.
As humans, we are more stretched and stressed than ever before. The physical, mental, and emotional demands of the world we live in flow too fast for the capacity of our bucket. That is why we often need to go on holiday and rest from the stress of everyday life to avoid crashing and burning. Its why we reach for shiny, short-term, and shallow solutions to try and soothe our stress. Yet most of the time, these perceived solutions only add to the problem, compounding our negative experiences and self-doubt even deeper into a depression.
Diets, pills, alcohol, cigarettes, sex, addictive games, social media, and even crazy fitness plans are all evidence of us trying our absolute hardest to avoid going toe to toe with our challenges, instead reaching for temporary distraction, hormone release, and escapism. Every weekend, the vicious cycle eats away at our happiness. Our self-worth, self-esteem, and self-confidence take a hit every time and we end up wasting energy, opportunities, and time. The worst part is, we dont even know we are doing it. We think we are doing good meanwhile, we are creating a deeper and more volatile problem.
So what has to happen for us to transform challenge into confidence? The good news is that you are the one who can do something about it. It doesnt matter how you feel right now because your past does not dictate your future. This is some of what I will help you with in this book. I will share long-term strategies you can integrate into your life to steer yourself towards happiness and good health. I will also share with you tips to create instant positive impact physically, mentally and emotionally right now, TODAY.
I promise you can live a healthy, happy, confident, and successful life, no matter what youve been through. I am not saying it will be easy, but it is possible that you can lift yourself up from any rut, challenge, or depression in your life and turn things around completely in order to live with energy, confidence, and abundance.
Happy, healthy, and high-performing people were not born that way. They learnt how to operate at a level which brings success no matter what happens and you can too. All of our ups and downs are relative and will challenge our spectrum of emotions in a way that is unique to us all. In other words, if they can do it, so can you.
My goal is to bring you closer with this book. Closer to confidence, closer to success, and closer to your Super Self. I am going to share my experience and expertise with you to help you understand what has worked for me. I will combine my own personal stories with proven strategies and tips that I teach my clients week in week out.
