    Jesus loved his heavenly Father and knew exactly what to say. USE THE FORCE Jesus, I know I must choose to listen to you. Listening is a choice I make. I have to listen closely if I am going to understand. I will listen to your teaching. Help me to hear you.

    The LORD had said to Abram, Go from your country, your people and your fathers family. Go to the land I will show you. GENESIS 12:1 MASTER MOMENT There are many special people who love and trust God no matter what. We can learn from them. WAYS OF WISDOM God had a special friend named Abraham. Abraham was married to Sarah.

    They loved God and each other. They prayed to God often and God knew them well. God had an idea for how to say thank you to Abraham for his great love and trust. USE THE FORCE God, let my love and trust for you be as big as Abraham and Sarahs. I will make you into a great nation. And I will bless you.

    I will make your name great. You will be a blessing to others. GENESIS 12:2 MASTER MOMENT God was happy that Abraham believed his promises. WAYS OF WISDOM God blessed Abraham because of his faith. God was so proud of him! God promised Abraham a big family and lots of land. USE THE FORCE God, your many promises to us are real and true!     I am thankful that you are different. So Abram went, just as the LORD had told him. GENESIS 12:4 MASTER MOMENT God chose Abram for a special job. WAYS OF WISDOM God talked to Abram. He told him to pack up and go to a new land. Abram did it! He took his wife and nephew with him.

    He did not ask questions, he just trusted God. God blessed Abram and changed his name to Abraham. USE THE FORCE Dear Lord, sometimes it is easy to understand what you ask of me. Sometimes it isnt so easy. Either way, I know I can trust your plan for me, God, because you love me! Is anything too hard for me? I will return to you at the appointed time next year. Sarah will have a son.

    GENESIS 18:14 MASTER MOMENT God can do anything. Even if it seems impossible, God can do it! WAYS OF WISDOM Abraham and Sarah were very old. But God said they would have a son! Sarah was so surprised that she laughed. She was nervous but happy. Could God really give them a son? Yes! God did it. It was a miracle! USE THE FORCE Thank you, God, for your miracles! Thank you for the joy of new life! By that time Abraham was very old.

    The LORD had blessed Abraham in every way. GENESIS 24:1 MASTER MOMENT Gods plan to have Abrahams family grow big and strong did not stop. Gods plans for us never end either. WAYS OF WISDOM Abraham always followed Gods plan. He raised his son Isaac to love God too. the plan to have Abraham be the father of Gods people. the plan to have Abraham be the father of Gods people.

    So when Isaac was grown up, Abraham knew that whatever God told him to do with Isaac he needed to do. USE THE FORCE God, I will not be old for a very long time. But I praise you that your plan for me is for my whole life. Thank you that you can see ahead for me and keep me on the right path. And he married Rebekah. She became his wife, and he loved her.

    GENESIS 24:67 MASTER MOMENT God leads people when they pray! WAYS OF WISDOM Abrahams sons grew up. It was time for Isaac to get married. Abraham sent a servant to look in his hometown for a nice girl who believed in God. The servant prayed for God to lead him. Sure enough, the servant met Rebekah. She was just the right one! USE THE FORCE I wont be getting married for a long time.

    When the time comes, I can trust you, God, to help me meet the right person for me. While I am growing up, you will lead me in all ways. Thank you, God, for leading me when I pray. A dinner was given at Bethany to honor Jesus. Martha served the food. JOHN 12:2 MASTER MOMENT God wants our love.

    Always be welcoming to him. WAYS OF WISDOM Jesus went to see his friends Martha, Mary, and Lazarus. Jesus knew he was always welcome in their home. They loved Jesus, and he loved them. Jesus was happy. USE THE FORCE You are always welcome in my heart, God! Help me to also be welcoming to others. USE THE FORCE You are always welcome in my heart, God!     But Isaac said, Your brother came and tricked me. He took your blessing. GENESIS 27:35 MASTER MOMENT Choosing to be honest is very important. WAYS OF WISDOM Sometimes we want something so much that we will do anything to get it. Even tell a lie. But if we tell a lie, we will suffer for it.
