WHETHER YOU REALIZE IT OR NOT, you are constantly being guidedwe all are. It doesn't matter what name you give to this guiding source. You can call it God, the Universe, Infinite Spirit, Higher Self, spirit guides, angels, source, or energy. I tend to prefer the term spirit guides, but naming this guiding source is not what's important. What is important is that you have an awareness that it exists. Once you are aware of this guidance, you can learn how to utilize it as an empowering tool for making choices and navigating your way toward a happier, healthier, and even wealthier life. This book teaches us how to retrieve that guidance using a simple, systematic method. And it is one of the most direct and powerful tools I have used.

Six years ago, I was a cynical, narrow-minded skeptic. At that time, I didn't believe that there were people who could communicate with spirits. And I certainly didn't believe that I had any intuitive abilities myself. It wasn't until I met my first legitimate psychic medium and received indisputable messages from my deceased father and grandmother that I became a believer. That's when I began my journey researching the afterlife and getting readings from more than one hundred gifted psychic mediums around the globe.

It took a long time for me to go from skeptic to believer, but by doing the research and proving to myself that all this was true, I was able to make the transition. After gathering a plethora of evidence that psychic mediums truly can communicate with people on the other side, I became a knower. I now know that the spirit world exists, that people can communicate with spirits, and that our lives are guided by people in spirit known as spirit guides.

Once I finally got over the hurdle of my skepticism, I learned how psychic mediums communicate with the spirit world. The truth is that it is all about energetic vibration. Mediums have learned to raise the energetic vibration of their minds so that people in spirit can lower their energetic vibration, thereby creating a link between the two. This link allows them to transfer information such as thoughts, sounds, sights, even telepathic pictures and feelings.

The next thing I learned is that our spirit guides communicate with us constantly without us needing to raise our own vibration. The fact is that they always know what we are saying, doing, and thinking, so their only challenge is in getting us to know what they are communicating to us in order to guide us. They do this through our intuition, gut feelings, and hunches.

This insight taught me that while professional psychic mediums can help us to receive messages more directly from our spirit guides, we don't necessarily need a medium to communicate with our guides. We simply need to learn how to interpret what our guides are communicating to us via our intuition. This is an empowering idea because once we become aware of our psychic intuitive guidance and learn to make use of it on our own, we won't have to rely upon others to do it for us.

While consulting a psychic medium can be extremely helpful in some cases, there are two problems with relying on psychic mediums for ongoing guidance. The first is that there is always room for misinterpretation. My experience is that, once we have learned how to access our intuitive guidance on our own, we are always more accurate at interpreting our own intuitive messages than anyone else could possibly be doing it for us. The second problem with being dependent upon a psychic medium for guidance is that, depending on your circumstances, contacting a medium whenever you need guidance might be inconvenient, costly, or unfeasible.
