In "the old days," the office was often not only a place to earn a living, but a place to socialize, make friends, and engage in harmless gossip. In today's world, however, the workplace is a far more dangerous place. Jokes, gossip, and seemingly harmless banter can, and will, kick you in the pants if you arrive unprepared.
