There are speeders for traveling in style, starfighters for completing critical missions, freighters for smuggling cargo, and many other types of vehicle besides. Galactic governments, rebel groups, and illegal gangs could not exist without vehicles to travel between, above, and across worlds.

ZAMS AIRSPEEDER KORO-2 AIRSPEEDER DATA FILE TYPE: Airspeeder MANUFACTURER: Desler Gizh Outworld Mobility Corporation SPEED: kph (457 mph) MODEL: Koro-2 all- environment exodrive airspeeder LENGTH: 6.6 m (21 ft in) WEAPONS: None THE KORO-2 IS A small personal airspeeder. It is fairly unusual, as it can also travel under water or in space to a limited degree. This makes the Koro-2 a popular choice of getaway vehicle with criminals. Caught in the Act Bounty hunter Zam Wesell uses one of these vehicles during her attempt to assassinate Senator Amidala.

After Zams assassination attempt fails, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker chase her across the planet Coruscant.

POWERED UP The Koro-2 speeders use an electromagnetic field for propulsion. The cabin holds an air supply that will last for two weeks.

LENGTH: 12.4 m (40 ft in) WEAPONS: None AN ELEGANTLY DESIGNED TURBO speeder, the Praxis Mk. is piloted by members of the Jedi Order when traveling around the city planet of Coruscant. Its thin, wedge-like design cuts down on wind resistance, and the navigation systems are programed to bypass heavy traffic. Red denotes official government business in the Republic Jedi Master Plo Koon

SAFETY FIRST The Praxis Mk. turbo speeder is equipped with collision-detection systems to help its pilot avoid accidents. Twin repulsor generators allow the ship to turn upside-down in midair. Symbol of the Jedi Order Jedi Colors Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tanos brightly colored turbo speeder contrasts with the murky underworld of Coruscant as the pair investigate an attack on the Jedi Temple.

COMFORTRIDE PASSENGER AIRSPEEDER CORUSCANT AIR TAXI DATA FILE TYPE: Repulsorcraft MANUFACTURER: Hyrotii Corporation SPEED: kph (119 mph) MODEL: ComfortRide LENGTH: 10.5 m (34 ft in) WEAPONS: None THE REPULSOR-POWERED ComfortRide airspeeder is a popular means of traveling around large cities. Unlike personal vehicles, this passenger transport is allowed to fly outside official skylanes.

The Hyrotii Corporation also manufacture the cheaper and less luxurious EasyRide airspeeder.

A tractor field holds passengers safely in place. There is a forward-facing fin to keep the vehicle stable, while repulsor engines ensure a smooth ride for everyone aboard.
