t here he sits sits and waits holding still for a twist of fate in a crowded room far away will he see me this lonely day he turns his head and i can't believe his eyes are looking right past me this invisible girl with an invisible heart slowly shattering into a thousand parts but the music playing from his eyes encompasses me goes deep inside raptures my soul in a symphony until i can no longer see me should i do it part my lips open my heart let the words slip out of the mouth that longs to taste savor his love not one moment waste it isn't right it isn't fair why i should feel why i should care about this man who does not see about this man lord, set me free and so like he i'll sit and wait holding still for a twist of fate patience till i find my way patience till my dying day
