Friends who saw this post immediately private messaged me to make sure I wasnt hurt by this, given it was shared publicly. I wasnt offended. I understood. I wasnt experienced when I started. I wasnt that magnetic. When I first started talking online about women redefining power and the importance of the feminine principle, I frequently thought, Who am I to be saying I can help women be Powerful and Feminine? I celebrated this social media post by sharing it. Her candid words were proof that what is in this book works!

What a difference a decade makes! Ive been teaching the material from this book and the Art of Feminine Presence trainings for over ten years now. My life looks barely recognizable. The insecurities that directed my life have (almost) all disappeared, and Im left with an inner peace and a quieting of the mind that I never thought possible. In 2002 I started to practice connecting to my feminine essence after attending my first workshop on the subject. This was right after moving from Australia to America and being immediately dumped on arrival by the guy I thought was the one. The first impetus to consider this disconnection from my feminine was the trouble I was having attracting the kind of man I wanted as an intimate partner.

Once I woke up to what I truly desired in a partner, embraced my feminine power and in turn met my gorgeous husband, my attention switched to how I could use this work to attract the attention that I wanted from ideal clients, and potential business opportunities. I went from being almost broke, having to move towns after a foreclosure of our home, scared to promote myself and ask for money, to now leading trainings all over the world, speaking to audiences every week, leading a successful company, with two best-selling books, and no anxiety about promoting myself and this work. All the while being happier, healthier, less stressed, and more in love with my husband, family, and friends than Ive ever been.

I started reading self-help/spiritual books and meditating in my early twenties. Ive been interested in the spiritual awakening process since then. Once I had attracted the man, the career opportunities, and the beautiful new home, my attention switched to being more focused on attracting states of awareness of what some would call enlightenment. I couldnt say this when the first edition of Powerful and Feminine came out, but I can now. The practices in this book and the Art of Feminine Presence trainings are a direct path to embodied spiritual realization. By embodied I mean that your spiritual understanding doesnt remain in your head as concepts you know, or that you sense are true. The realization drops down into the body and becomes the experience of overflowing unconditional love, vital energy, freedom of expression, beauty, presence, and non-resistance to whatever is occurring. Its ecstatic joy that radiates through you and into your life.
