#CROWDSOURCING tweet Book01 is a really varied collection of quotes that would intrigue anyone about crowdsourcing. It is well organized and allows one to get a glimpse of how people from very, very different walks of life see the usefulness and importance of sourcing to the crowd. I guess it is perhaps more intuitive than one would be led to imagine. By compiling this set of tweets, [the authors] will help increase the several dimensions through which the art and craft of crowdsourcing will be viewed in the future.

Why Did We Write This Book?
Ive been a big believer in the concept of collaborative wisdom. Not only has crowdsourcing greatly helped me in accomplishing many tasks successfully, it has also made it a fun process.
I realized early in life that any individuals intelligence is limited and that its important to tap into the wisdom and experience of others. There were lots of important lessons that I learned from organizing many unconferences like BarCamps, BlogCamps, BrainJams and Pecha-Kuchas. I learned borderless collaboration from my association with fellow Wikipedians. It was important to document these tips and insights. When I looked around, I found there werent too many books on this subject. So I figured there were more than enough reasons for me to work on this book.
