Preface
The motivation for this book was sparked by my many encounters with both women and men who are not completely happy with their current lives, have a low self-image, and are looking for a spark to reignite their passion for life. The key components of a happy life are having a positive self-image, minimal stress, and healthy intimate relationships, all of which are both directly linked to the foods we eat, our exercise habits, and general lifestyle habits.
Losing weight and having a healthy sex drive, for both people who are in an intimate relationship and those who are not, will most certainly increase the overall quality of life. Eating properly, exercising, and sexual expression provide physiological, psychological, emotional, intellectual, and social benefits.
It is not necessary to disrupt your entire life to lose weight. There are simple and easy ways to burn fat that can seamlessly be integrated into your life. Men, if you are suffering from a diminished sex drive, it is not necessary to have testosterone treatments with scary side effects or take a prescribed drug for erectile dysfunction. There are foods as well as herbal supplements that could potentially help you. Women, you dont have hate your body, accept that your sex drive is gone, and live with the problems your loss of desire is creating in your relationship. As a personal trainer and a health and wellness coach, I have seen how negative self-image, loss of libido, and overall stress can destroy lives and relationships. Im a realist, so lets be honest. The main driver of peoples desire to lose weight is not to be healthier. Although it should be, its not. Most people want to lose weight to look better, feel better, find love, or improve the intimate relationship they already have. The only people who want to lose weight solely on the premise of improving health are the people who have been told to do so by a medical professional. So Im not going to try to sell you on or convince you of the health benefits of eating properly and exercising, although they are countless. Im going to tell you about what you really want to know, how you can look better, get rid of the cellulite on your thighs and fat on your belly, look good naked, and naturally revive your libido to make your relationship and sex life better.
What most people fail to realize is that feeling better, looking better, having less stress, and boosting sex drive are all connected directly to what we eat and our physical activities. When you exercise and eat right, your body looks better. When your body looks better, you feel better and have more confidence. When you feel better and have more confidence, you will feel sexier and embrace your body. When you feel sexy and embrace your body, you will be more open to sexual encounters and sexual expression. When you start having better sex more often, you will experience the benefits of sex. Such as less stress, better sleep, less pain, a healthy heart, a better body, and a youthful glow; yes, sex does make your skin better.
