Welcome, and I cant thank you enough for choosing this book! My name is Sammi Boerner, and I am honored to help you in your weight loss journey. I am the owner of Sage Mind and Body in Burnsville, Minnesota, where I offer custom aromatherapy, signature aromatherapy blends, and health and lifestyle coaching. I hold a NAHA Level 1 Aromatherapy Certification, Integrative Nutrition Health Coach Certification, and a bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration from Liberty University. My goal is to assist you through your weight loss journey by providing you with essential oils and remedies to support your mind, body, and soul.
Since I was a teenager, I have struggled with anxiety, OCD, panic disorder, and insomnia. I was on three prescription medications and let those diagnoses control my lifeuntil a little over two years ago when everything changed. I was overweight, unhealthy, frustrated, angry, anxious, depressed, and unhappy with my job.
I considered giving up, but then I started seeing a new chiropractor who helped me change the trajectory of my life.
It all started with a weight loss goal of five pounds, which I honestly didnt believe was possible. After just three months of eating clean and moving my body, I had lost 25 pounds. After six months, I had lost 50 pounds!
I had not thought it was possible to lose the weight and keep it offand though I kept calling it a lifestyle change, everyone said it wouldnt last. My healthy lifestyle has lasted and, given how amazing I feel, I know I will never go back to where I was.
Along with the weight loss came a huge mentality adjustment. I am more positive than I have ever been and I feel fantastic, inside and out. I was even able to discontinue one medication for insomnia and have significantly decreased the dosage of my anxiety medications. It took a lot of dedication and belief in myself, which wasnt always easy.
Diet and exercise are crucial for losing weight, but they are not the only components of the process. I used essential oils throughout my whole journey to help with sleep, energy, anxiety, sore muscles, digestion, and to promote positive feelings and thoughts. I cant wait to share some of the essential oils that helped me in my journey, and I hope they help you just as much, if not more, than they helped me.
This book is broken down into two parts: In is full of blends and remedies for managing appetite, boosting metabolism, increasing energy, aiding detoxification, regulating digestion, improving sleep, and promoting calm.
I am so happy that you are taking this exciting next step. Weight loss can help you feel happier and healthier. Im so excited for you to meet your goals and learn about your mind, body, and soul.
