Praise for this book
Josh teaches from his direct example of how to build a local digital marketing agency, step-by-step. I've seen few -- among many-- that have the credibility, experience, and heart to truly help people build a successful agency. Service businesses is where the opportunity is for agencies and I admire Josh practicing what he preaches, going out of his way to help the rest of us.

Ive been fortunate to be able to watch Josh drive the growth of his agency and establish their leadership in their market. He has executed as well as anyone in this industry. My advice to Agency owners: Read his book. Attend his events. Soak up everything he has to say!

Josh nails it.
This book is wonderfully actionable - I challenge you to read it & not implement the frameworks he lays out in detail. It might be "The Rule of Five Ones" or his Money-Impact-Freedom model or (my favourite) delivering consistent value in exchange for recurring revenue.
Ive known Josh for years, hes generous with his knowledge & a whip-smart operator. Follow his advice, put in the work & youll hit your goals.

Josh Nelson is the real deal if you want to succeed I recommend you learn everything you can from him.

Ive owned 2 agencies in my career, both 7 Figures.
Agency 1 operated on razor thin margins and was a nightmare to run. Demanding clients required lots of sleepless nights at the office under the desk, using a pizza box as a pillow. I closed it down in under 3 years under a mountain of debt.
Agency 2 operated at 30-40% profit margins, was fun as heck to run, and allowed me to spend time with my family every day while getting my clients meaningful results at the same time. I sold Agency 2 earlier this year after 22 months of operation.
Night and day difference.
Joshs book contains the exact step by step playbook his 7 figure agency uses every day. His methods arent theory - theyre proven. With this book you can skip all the trial and errors I made in Agency 1 and get all the benefits of Agency 2 right out the gates.
Its easily worth $100 just for the first 2 chapters alone.
I wish this book was written 10 years ago! Id have slept on a lot fewer pizza boxes.

No fluff, no BS, just actionable steps to build a 7-figure agency. He literally gives you the exact model to attract clients, to close them on long-term retainers, and the SPECIFIC offers they provide per price point. As a 7-figure agency owner myself, this made me re-evaluate a few of our offers. He truly shows you how to provide exceptional value, and keep clients ready to pay you every month!!

Right now in the marketing world there seems to be a new model. Create a service business. Have modest success for 3-6 months. Start an advice business based on your "proof story" of your modest success. Sell as many suckers as you can. Oh and stop the service business as fast as possible because that is too close to "real work".
In the agency training space, this is literally what about 90% of the "gurus" out there have done. It is weird that they are so bullish on agency but dont run an agency themselves anymore... maybe a red flag lol.
Anywho... Josh Nelson is not one of those guys.
He built a real multiple 7 figure agency. From the ground up. Still runs it every day.
Its a non-sexy... bread and butter type agency. You know, the kind that makes you rich if you stick at it. So, when I found out Josh had written a book about his path - I just skipped straight to the buy now button and devoured it fast.
If youre in an agency business and want to grow it, you should get this book. the chapter on productizing your service is more than worth the price of the whole book alone. Great advice all throughout the book. Just get it. You wont regret it.
Kevin Hutto | Clients Every Day
Foreword
Building an agency is hard.
Prospects are jaded, existing clients are demanding, and skilled help is nearly impossible to find. And then there's the work, itself. Algorithms shift, channels come and go, and tactics that work one day become obsolete the next. At DigitalMarketer.com, it's our business to stay up to date on these trends, and even we have a hard time keeping up, so it's no wonder that many agency owners fall behind.
Fortunately, Josh Nelson discovered a better way.
As a long-time member of DigitalMarketer and a member of our Certified Partner community, Josh has studied the game, built the skills, and outlined a straightforward plan that allowed him to build a successful, 7-figure agency.
In other words, Josh is a DOER, and not merely a teacher.
Josh has applied his plan, day in and day out, on his own agency, and the result: a rapid growing, profitable agency that seems to find its way onto the Inc 5000 list of the fastest growing companies each and every year. (And if you know anything about this list, making it once is an incredible achievement, but making it multiple years in a row is truly exceptional.)
This "do then teach" mindset is what we're all about at DigitalMarketer, and it's what makes this book unusually valuable.
And when I say this book is "unusually valuable" I mean it.
