W ithout any doubt, the internet has become a place where jobs have taken another concept. Even more in a world where everything goes at a fast pace and technology does not know limits.
It is a lot of people, entrepreneurs, and companies that have found in Digital Marketing a place to be in touch with potential clients around the world thanks to the Internet, which has become a great ally for all of those people who have an idea, service, and/or product to offer to the rest of the world. In the present world, everything seems to point out that technology and Internet can compenetrate each other and ally very well to achieve the objectives of a group or an individual.
In this book, I will show you the 14 tips that have been helping me, a digital marketing professional, to obtain an extra income to subsist and carry out successfully my electronic products and digital services business, which I offer and have made me worthy of many qualifications and acknowledgments by carrying out to success many entities from my country in the digital marketing area.
A lot of these companies have stagnated trying to achieve their objectives, not only in sales, but trying to expand their potential clients horizons, not only in their respective cities or countries, and this is due to them not knowing the strategies and having little knowledge regarding the importance of marketing.
In my experience, in most of the cases these people, these companies refused to promote, study, track down, and bet for new markets that could be managed by themselves, because according to their beliefs, the topic about technology and the possibilities the Internet could offer were absurd. They did not want to bet in fear of expanding themselves.
Believe me that, in those years, it cost me a lot of work to make them see the importance of the Internet. This was between the years 2005 and 2008. For my profession, for the marketing professionals, it was an authentic odyssey make them understand the future.
As time passed by, these companies realized what I wanted to say. Maybe it was because their competitors bet for this huge change. And if that is the case, I think they were really helpful.
With these 14 tips, I am sure that you, reader, future entrepreneur, and dreamer (because that is what is all about). It is not enough to have a title, have knowledge, know how to manage and guide the objectives of a group of people to success, it takes much more than that. If you do not know what it is like to dream, what it is like to wish to achieve something with all your heart, then it will not matter if you read this book.
These valuable tips are for people who love what they do. For those people who dream on, for those who motivate themselves daily, for those who love to see the satisfaction of their goals in their costumer's faces. And of course, our own satisfaction as potential entrepreneurs.
And we have to see us that way: entrepreneurs who dream, willful, inveterate. If not, we could never accomplish anything in this world of Digital Marketing.

DO NOT DO IT ALL
F ocus yourself on something very specific. I have always said it. It always works for any type of business and not only for online marketing issues. I tell you this not only because of my over 10 years experience, when I started my first marketing agency Ciao Media, where we specialized in Social Media, in that time where social networks such as Facebook and Twitter started to take a step into marketing here in England, I must confess I committed a mistake, I tried to do a little bit of everything.
Terrible mistake. We made web pages, blogs, e-commerce, social networks strategies, community manager, corporate image, event management, etc. And it seemed it was great, we were doing a lot of things, it was me and a group of friends, and collaborators I acquired along time, as you know, assembling a team is pricey, since you have the responsibility to provide them with a salary; when one is starting, you have to be careful, since you have to make sure you have the financial capacity of affording to have all of these people working for you, or if it was necessary to fire them, or close the company, or whatever, and it is not that easy when you are staring your business.
Overall, the problem was when, for example, we started a website and sometimes needed of a person, or work with an autonomous worker, a freelancer, with which you obviously had a relationship and made them part of the project or coordinated, but every part of every project, that is very different from one another, require a different learning curve and very pricey when it is a small group. If you are going to have a small company and have money in abundance, in the bank, then nothing changes, but if you are starting out, if you are an entrepreneur (and most of us are) or have a partner and/or team. If you are the one who is starting out, facing all of these alone, it is obviously not easy to have several projects of different areas in a single agency, because it is impossible to be good in everything. It is impossible to do.
