THE LITTLE DOCTOR: full name: Mariano Lpez Martnez. Born: Jimnez, State of Chihuahua, 1869. Schooling under scholarship at the National University, Mexico City, and the National School of Medicine. Served internship at the Hospital de San Andrs, Mexico City. Practised medicine in various cities, State of Chihuahua. During Great Revolution served with Villas forces. Met Don Rosalo in El Paso, Texas, and accepted invitation to visit Hidalgo. Never married.
DON NACHO, full name: Ignacio Villareal. Born: Hidalgo, State of Nuevo Len, 1854. Village schooling. At twenty-one became Hidalgos Inspector de Polica. Married Mariliria Gova from the Gallineros, 1876. One child, Chela, born late in marriage. In Great Revolution served with Villas men. Became alcalde 1 of Hidalgo, 1920. Retained that office until his death, 1935.
DON ROSALIO, full name: Rosalo Lozano Torres. Born: Hidalgo, State of Nuevo Len, 1862. Educated, National University, Mexico City, University of Salamanca, Spain. Married Ana Mara Sanchez in Spain, 1883. Wife died, 1886. Returned to Mexico, 1908. Served on Carranzas staff. Owned extensive orange groves in the Sabinas. Died, 1931.
FATHER ZACAYA, full name: Manuel Leopoldo Zacaya Arrambide. Born, Mexico City, 1871, youngest son of the powerful Zacaya family. Educated, the Sorbonne, Paris, University of Dublin, Ireland. Strong tendency towards the religious vocation from childhood. Entered the priesthood, Mexico City, 1897. First parish, town of San Ignacio, State of Chihuahua. Met Don Rosalo during Great Revolution. Come to Hidalgo, 1920. Died, 1941.
