About the Book
Inspired by Djwhal Khul, Dr. Joshua David Stone has written a unique book about relationships from the perspective of the soul and monad rather than just the personality. This presents a broader picture of the problems and common traps of romantic relationship and offers much deeper and spiritually sound guidance and advice. Drawing on his experience as a psychotherapist and licensed marriage, family, and child counselor, Dr. Stone has written an excellent manual for initiates, disciples, and ascended beings.
About the Author
Dr. Joshua David Stone (December 1953August 2005) was an American author, teacher and spokesperson for the ascension movement.
He worked very closely with his wife, Terri Sue Stone, who is a claraudient voice channel for the ascended masters, most specifically for the Ascended Master Djwhal Khul of Alice A. Bailey fame.
In the 1990s, Dr. Stone initiated the Wesak celebrations at Mount Shasta, California, which are annual spiritual gatherings that spawned a lot of interest and controversy in the New Age movement. The last Wesak celebration hosted by Dr. Stone at Mount Shasta took place in 2004. The Wesak celebrations in Mount Shasta are still carried on today.
Dr. Joshua David Stone was a recipient of a PhD in transpersonal psychology and was the author of a fifteen-volume Ascension Series of books, all of which are published by Light Technology Publishing.

Preface
As beings in the process of ascension, we are building our light and love quotients and becoming more and more telepathic. We are in greater touch with the many levels of the Spiritual Hierarchy, both planetary and cosmic. We are becoming soul-infused and, ultimately, united with our monad. Yet we are human beings in want of other human beings for community and companionship. We are in bodies, and those bodies have real and vital needs. Most of us must eat (though there are those few who do live on light). Most of us must sleep, and we all seek some kind of shelter from the elements. Almost all of us seek relationships of one kind or another, and many of us seek a romantic relationship of a deep and enduring nature.
This book on romantic relationships is written for those who are consciously on the path of ascension those who have moved beyond the third-dimensional thinking of the bulk of humanity. And yet, some of our basic needs are quite in stride with humanity as a whole. What is being addressed within these pages is the integration of all aspects of ourselves. To be fully divine, do we not also desire to be fully human? All of us want love, almost all of us want it from our fellow human beings, and most of us want to express it within a romantic relationship.
As lightworkers we need not, nor should we, deny this part of ourselves. In fact we should learn how best to embrace this within ourselves and with our romantic partners. But we must learn how to approach it from who we are in the vaster scheme of things, viewing through the lens of our souls and monads to brighten and heighten every aspect of our romantic relationships.
For those whose calling it is to follow the life of the celibate single, that too is fine. One then commits to the divine romance between oneself and God. Thus, the focus of this book remains on romantic relationships, and specifically the romantic relationship between two lightworkers who join their lights. However, if you are a lightworker involved with a partner who is not as accelerated as you are, this book is equally for you.
Introduction
The idea and inspiration to write this book came directly from Djwhal Khul. There are many books written about relationships, but most of them are written from the personality perspective, rather than from the perspective of the soul and monad. There are three levels of self-actualization: personality level, soul level and monadic level. Romantic relationships viewed from a soul and monadic level of understanding are very different from those viewed only from the personality level.
With my background as a psychotherapist and licensed marriage, family, child counselor, Djwhal Khul asked me to write this book as another important part of the whole picture. It is my humble prayer that my beloved readers will find some of my thoughts, feelings, and life experience both clinical and personal to be of value. This book is a manual for high level disciples, initiates and ascended beings in dealing with the teacher of all teachers: romantic relationships and parenting. It is written from the perspective of the ascended masters and the soul and monad, or Mighty I AM Presence.
Finding Your Mate
Seek and Ye Shall Find
The wonderful and often-used words of Jesus/Sananda, Seek and ye shall find, are sometimes appropriate and sometimes not when discussing romantic relationships. All too often, when one is seeking that special relationship, that perfect match made in heaven, one finds oneself utterly bereft and alone. This leads to depression and endless worrying and wondering as to why one is alone. Is it something you have done or not done? Are you not attractive enough, not spiritual enough? This type of depressive thinking has the unfortunate result of collapsing or introverting the aura inward upon itself, taking away much of the needed radiance that ultimately works wonders in attracting a romantic relationship.
