I must say it was after reading the last paragraph, of my first book, The Unchosen Gypsy, that I realized it led me to begin writing this my second book, Weight Loss and Cancer Diagnosis. Journey. I am so grateful to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, for choosing me to write this second book.
When I tell you that this is truly a miracle, that is how I feel. How in three years God has assigned me to this task of writing two books from His sweet voice whisper, is so astounding that I cannot even find the words. So, I just say thank you to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I also want to thank my son and daughter-in-law for allowing God to guide them, which got me to the place that He wanted me to be to obey His assignment. God uses us all to complete our purpose He has laid out for us, even when we have no idea what that is.
I want to say as well thank you to Motivational Speaker Lisa Nicholas and the Compass Way of Life Boot Camp fitness training company for their input of information that helped me to shift my mindset. I am still on the journey.

Introduction
Healthy Eating Tips from a Personal Perspective Only
The purpose of this book is another God whispered inspired assignment and two to enlighten others on how to personalize their healthy eating, that can also promote weight loss.
My personal story of how I came to make this life change. It all started in December 2016 when my son and daughter in law needed someone to house sit during renovations of a home they had just purchased. They wanted all renovations done prior to moving in, they both worked and being that I was retired, I volunteered to help them out. This would take about three to four months.
While there I needed something to focus on to keep me occupied, so I was on Facebook one day and one of my friends posted a video of now famous Motivational Speaker Lisa Nichols, and I was captivated by her message. I started following her and got involved with 28 Day Program and Abundance Now Books. As I was following her, she announced her involvement with a Fitness Training company known as the Way of Life Boot Camp. Lisa hired them to challenge her employees to start this 14- and 21-day health and fitness program. So, I also got involved and committed myself to the program, which turned out to be life changing. This was the start of my eating healthier and thus promoted weight loss of approximately 55 pounds.
My family and friends were noticing my transformation, they asked me one, if I was starving myself, two what I was doing to lose the weight? Therefore, my God given assignment is to enlighten on how I personalized this program to me. Hoping this will give you encouragement that you too can personalize eating healthy and gain an extra benefit of weight loss.
So, let us get started:
Chapter 1
Cause of Change
March 2015, we laid our Mother to rest, and my son and daughter in law suggested I consider relocating to New Jersey, that way I would be nearer to them and the grandkids. Also, could be of some assistance in childcare as well. So, after consideration I finalized all the loose ends in Virginia, and in May of 2015 packed up and relocated to New Jersey.
The plan was to live with them, put in applications for Senior apartments until one became available. I placed approximately 10 applications for senior housing and now we had to play the waiting list game. I continued applying throughout a two-year period. Most of the waiting period was two to five years, and then it depended on where you were on the list.
Now it is 2016, and my grandkids were getting older a larger home was becoming necessary, since they were of different genders and could no longer share the same bedroom. However, during these years of placing applications in for apartments, I also was applying for a job, since the cost of living in New Jersey was more than I could financially handle. All during these previous years one of my dear friends lost her husband and she was devastated by it; they had been together since they were in their twenties. So, she and I discussed and agreed upon my moving in with her.
Now, this is a God experience moment, once I moved in with her, I received a phone call for an interview for a job right up the street from where the apartment was. I got the job and went to work. It had been a few months since I had applied for that job. It only lasted 91 days, because I was doing three peoples job and in turn, I lost quite a few pounds too fast and was not good for my health. As well as they were not paying me sufficiently enough for what I was doing. So, I removed myself from the job, and I was relieved. I was already retired and was just trying to subsidize my income. I was in the apartment for six months and due to a situation that aroused we relocated to my friends brothers house in Delaware in the last quarter of the year 2016. Since I was still on the waiting list in New Jersey, I thought that soon something would become available. As God would have it, one-month later December 2016, my son and daughter in law needed my assistance. This time it was to house sit at the new home they purchased and was being renovating the kitchen and family rooms of the house. I packed up my belongings in Delaware and returned to New Jersey. Hence the beginning of my house-sitting journey and weight loss concentration. This journey was from December 2016 through August 2017. I settled in the basement of the new house, which was fully equipped with full-service bathroom. There was a counter with sink, and microwave to meet all my needs in this large room, has a living area/bedroom. The renovations of the first-floor area started in mid-January and was completed in March 2017. Then the family moved in.
