Safe weight loss comes in a steady pace, rather than a huge amount in the beginning. A healthy weight loss diet will have the weight shedding evenly, and sustaining afterwards. These three diets are well balanced and each diet helps to maintain good weight loss while eating highly nutritious foods. These diets are not to be confused with crash diets, which work to lost weight too fast. Crash diets may result in massive weight loss in record time, but the truth is, weight loss will not stick unless a lifestyle change in dieting is made. The three diets referred to here are the Mediterranean Diet, Paleo Diet, and the Hypothyroid Diet.

Just because it is "quick" does not mean the largest amount of weight is lost in the beginning. It means you will have a good jumpstart at weight loss, if you follow the diet and stick to the diet. It means you will have continued weight loss at a steady pace as you stay on the diet. Healthy weight loss starts with a quick weight loss, but evens out soon, so that it is a steady flow. This helps to nail down a healthy lifestyle change. Good diets are meant to facilitate weight loss while also keeping you satisfied.

Even if you do lose a significant amount of weight quickly you will want to do things to make sure you keep that weight off. Healthy weight loss comes when you change your habits of eating. If you diet long enough to lose the weight and not continue with eating healthy the weight will come back. In the same token, dieting alone is not enough. Strong recommendations are to exercise at least half an hour every other day. Optimally daily exercise will do the body good. Exercise and dieting go hand in hand and they both must be continued for weight loss success in the future as well.

For many years, these people were studied for their longevity and excellent health. Obesity in this area is rare and it is because of their diet. The Mediterranean Diet helps to promote cardiovascular healthy. The diet is rich with foods high in antioxidants and omega 3 fatty acids. This diet is meant to be a lifestyle change, once you go on the day, you should stay on the diet to maintain weight loss.

A closer look at the Mediterranean Diet shows the addition of vegetables and fruits that are packed with nutrition. If we simply added these beneficial foods to our diets our bodies would be so much healthier. Their diets are rich in olive oil and seafood, two foods that help the body to build a strong immune system. Eating these foods on a daily basis, and excluding junk foods gives the body the best chance to become as healthy as possible. Strong emphasis is placed on exercise and socialization too to help build the muscles and strengthen the mind.

The Paleo Diet is the same diet our ancestors of ancient times ate. The Stone Age people ate a diet consisting of certain fruits and vegetables and a huge variety of meats and "good" fats. Research shows our Stone Age ancestors lived long healthy lives. They were not fat, maintaining a healthy weight level. Since they seemed so healthy and thin, the Paleo Diet gained popularity again, offering people an alternative to helping with weight loss and a lifestyle change to healthier nutrition. The Paleo Diet is very closely akin to the gluten free diet.

The Paleo Diet may be a difficult one to follow if you are accustomed to eating grains and beans. The Stone Age people did not eat anything with grains or beans and yet they are among the healthiest of our ancestors. They did eat a lot of meats, but the vegetables they ate helped to digest and gain the benefit from the healthier fats and proteins. We have learned from them how a diet rich in meat and vegetables helps to boost the immune system and keep us at more optimum weight levels.

The Hypothyroid Diet is for people who suffer from a thyroid that does not produce enough thyroid hormone. The thyroid is responsible for balance metabolism and when it is off the body faces many symptoms from low energy to a host of other issues. Thyroid issues are often treated with prescription medications but can also be treated with other means such as diet. The purpose of the Hypothyroid Diet is to list the foods that help to promote a healthy thyroid. The thyroid is affected by certain foods, so there are foods that need to be avoided as well as a list of foods that are safe and beneficial to consume.
