For Barbara Groves and MaryJacobson, getting started in thequilt design business began withtheir very first quilting class. The quilt shop hosting theirbeginners class was for sale, which made the sisters thinkhow much fun it would be tohave their own shop. Years later, they did indeed open a quiltshop. Designing and sewingsamples for the store was oneof their favorite things to do.Eventually, they sold the storeto give their full attention todesigning quiltsand thatwas the beginning of Me & MySister Designs. Theyve beenquilting together for fifteencreative years, and this is theirfourth pattern book availablethrough www.LeisureArts.com.To see the sweet and whimsicalfabrics that Barb and Maryhave designed for Moda, visitMeAndMySisterDesigns.com.
