In this book a number of chefs have come up with the best ways to prepare a variety of exquisite juices. There are different kinds of juices. Few just have the function of being refreshments, while there are others not only perform the refreshment function, but are also essential for a healthy living. These recipes are essentially made for providing you with ample nutrition. We all know juices of fruits, vegetables and herbs are always rich in minerals, phosphorus, and other acidic compounds.

These recipes are healthy to consume because most of them provide us with nutrition essential for our body growth, for our daily diet as well as to help with the oxidation process. 365 Days of Juicing Recipes
Fresh lemon orange juice
This is a very refreshing and very rejuvenating juice. The sweet and sour components of this beverage make it delectable and this juice is a super source of vitamin C. Ingredients: About 2 fresh oranges Same number of fresh lemons a cup of tonic water Crushed ice cubes Directions Take the fresh oranges and lemons. Peel off their skin and cut them into bite-sized pieces.

Now in a blender place the fresh oranges and lemons, along with a cup of tonic water and ice cubes. Process them through the blender. Obtain the cool fresh juice extract. Take serving glasses and pour in the fresh juice. You may garnish with a slice or orange or a slice of lemon. Serve.

Spice it up
This is a very tasty drink and will tantalize your taste buds. Contains simple ingredients and can be prepared within an hour or so. This juice is a rich source of many important minerals. Ingredients 1 can of tomato juice Pinch of white sugar Some drizzle of vinegar Pinch of onion powder 3 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce Directions Take about 1 and a half can of tomato juice. Mix this with a pinch of white sugar, drizzle of some cider vinegar, a pinch of onion powder and some Worcestershire sauce. Now, put them in a blender.

After they have mixed well, put this in the refrigerator for about an hour or so. Serve the juice in glasses, garnished with a slice of lemon. Enjoy!

Ripened Pineapple juice
Fresh pineapples are very refreshing, especially when they are consumed in the form of a juice. Freshly prepared juices are a great start to a day and can be served as a welcome drink to your guests. It is not only tasty, but healthy as well, since it contains a lot of vitamins, minerals, enzymes, fibers, etc. Ingredients ripe pineapple 1 tablespoons sugar Salt to taste (optional) 2 cups of water Directions Wash pineapple and remove its skin.

Cut into bite sized pieces. Take a blender or mixer and add pineapple pieces along with sugar, salt and water. Strain mixture into a jug. You can chill it in the freezer or just add ice cubes before serving it. Enjoy!

Peppered Fresh Grape Juice
Grapes are regarded in many cultures as the queen of fruits, since centuries. Consuming these gives an ideal to start your day.

They are very tasty at the same time they are rich in poly-phenolic antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. Ingredients 1 large bowl of grapes 1 tablespoons of sugar 2 cups of water 1 pinch ground black pepper Directions Wash and de-stem the grapes in a bowl. Then mash them so that the juice begins to flow. Simmer the mashed grapes on a low-medium flame and stir occasionally. Strain the mixture to remove the solid components. Chill it in freezer for several hours or refrigerate overnight.

Pour the juice into container and it is ready to serve. Enjoy!

Tangy and Tasty Strawberry Juice
Strawberry is one of the tastiest and healthiest fruits. It is refreshing and also full of antioxidants and vitamins. Ingredients 2 cups whole strawberries 2 tablespoons sugar Salt (optional) Ice cubes (optional) Lime juice (optional) Directions Wash the strawberries and chop them to pieces. Take them in a bowl. Now add sugar, pinch of salt, some lime juice and water.

Then blend them in a mixture. Take a fine mesh and strain the mixture in a jug. Put the jug inside the freezer to get it chilled or add some ice cubes to it. Pour it in glasses. You may add a slice of strawberry on the rim of the glasses and serve. Enjoy!

Carrot Juice with Ginger Threads
Carrot juice is a highly nutritious juice.

They are neither too sweet nor too bitter. It can be made every morning very quickly and also adds to your nutrient requirements for the day.. Ingredients 8 large carrots 2 tablespoons of sugar Salt (optional) inch piece of fresh ginger Directions Wash the carrots and ginger in cold running water. Cut them into slices and place in a blender. Add sugar and salt to it and mix. Strain the mixture using a fine mesh and fill in a jug.

Stir the mixture. Either serve it chill or have it as it is. You can add a few threads of ginger on top of the glasses to make it look more tempting. Enjoy!

Flavorful fresh Watermelon Juice
Watermelon gives a cooling effect in the summer. It makes you feel refreshed and reenergized. This juice is very easy to make.

An icy cold watermelon drink can quench thirst on hot days and is very welcoming for the guests as well. Ingredients a watermelon Pinch of salt 3 Mint leaves Finely grated ginger Sugar (optional) Water Directions Chop the watermelon and grate the ginger. Place it in a blender. Add little amount of sugar and a pinch of salt. Blend until smooth and strain. Pour in glasses.

Add some ice cubes. Add grated ginger and mint for garnish. Serve immediately. Enjoy!

Creamy Apple and Carrot juice
This is a very refreshing and a very creamy juice. This is an ideal juice to start your day. It consists of fresh apples and baby carrots which are very healthy and nutrient rich.

Ingredients 3-4 Fresh baby carrots 1 Peeled and quartered fresh apple teaspoon of grated ginger a cup of fresh coconut milk Directions First, take the fresh baby carrots and remove the skin. Then pass them through a juice extractor and take the resulting juice in a container. Now, take the fresh apples and peel off the skin and cut them in quarters. Pass through the juice extractor and pour the juice in the container with the carrot juice. Pour in the fresh coconut milk. Mix and pour into glasses and add grated ginger.
