In early Eastern and Middle Eastern cultures, we find the firstalbeit crudeversion of a modern juicer. It was usually a simple apothecary stone-ware grinder used with a linen sack for filtering that made early juices for people from Mesopotamia to Korea. Many of these juices were used for healing of diseases as well as for ceremonial practices. The Koreans, especially, are known to have a green juice that was used during worship services for patriarchy and deceased family members.
