Annotation
Today, street fighting is the sad reality of modern life in big cities of many countries, and they always include hand-to-hand fighting. And although everyone heard eastern wisdom: The best battle is the one we managed to avoid, it is not always possible to avoid a confrontation with a criminal or a group of criminals.
Hand-to-hand combat is the physical confrontation of two or more people at a very short distance, which may include the use of melee weapons, such as guns, knives, sticks, batons, spears, etc.
And even if people claim that they are engaged in martial arts and hope that they can apply their knowledge in a street fight, this is only half true.
If the conflict escalates into a fight, you must to know how to protect yourself and your close ones. Of course, you can try call for help. However, this, as a rule, can further infuriate the enemy. Therefore, in some circumstances you must accept the battle.
This book presents the most effective contact combat and self-defense methods that were originally developed for riot police, Special Forces, field intelligence officers and paratroopers. They are based on karate, aikido, wushu, Krav Maga, Russian self-defense skilling (combat sambo) and many other styles and techniques of martial arts.
Later they were adapted for ordinary people - men, women and children - regardless of their physical condition, size and age, to give them powerful, effective and easy to learn and use self-defense methods against any criminal. You will learn the basic techniques of self-defense and counterattacks in different situations. No training or previous experience required.

Chapter 1. Introduction
The self-defense system offered in this book consists of technical actions and techniques that have been tested in real combat conditions. The emphasis in training is on quickly neutralizing the threat in a real situation.
The main difference between this system and other types of self-defense is that all techniques are based on maximum efficiency in real conditions. Based on the fact that there will be no pity or leniency in the attack, the response is aimed at neutralizing the threat and rescuing as quickly and safely as possible.
The emphasis is on hitting vulnerable points including pokes in the eye, blows to the groin, bites, screams and head blows. At the same time, training clearly demonstrates methods of mitigating conflict and methods of adequately attacking, and emphasizes the need to meet the limits of necessary self-defense.
Once in a street fight, you must behave correctly. It is necessary to concentrate, but not to show any tension or fear, even if there are several opponents. Do not panic, even if a weapon appears in the opponent's hand - a knife or brass knuckles. Even in this case following the techniques and recommendations of this book, you can stop an offender, avert life threatening situation and save yourself and your family.
There are three main rules of street self-defense, which must be very strictly followed.
The first unspoken rule is to inflict the greatest possible damage to the enemy or opponents, but at the same time try not to hurt yourself.
The second rule is that every strike must be delivered to a vulnerable point, trying to make the enemy incapable as quickly as possible.
Third rule of street fighting: martial arts rules should not be respected. No need to spare the enemy, be afraid to hurt him, otherwise he will immediately take advantage of this.
According to these rules and recommendations set forth in the book, you can get out of the street fight as a winner, that is, alive and without serious injuries, and save lives.
In this self-defense system there is no difference between training for men and women, young and people in old age, as the training puts emphasis on natural reflex movements of the human body.
Training is built very simply and logically, which allows you to assimilate the studied material as soon as possible. It is suitable for beginners with its simple, logical and realistic approach in ensuring personal safety.
Each technique in the book has a detailed description and is accompanied by professionally made photographs for easy understanding, learning and mastering your personal self-defense skills.
Chapter 2. The structure of the melee self-defense system
Structurally, the melee self-defense system consists of two mutually conditioned and interconnected parts: self-defense and contact combat.
Imagine that after a long working day you are heading to your car in the parking lot. As soon as you open the door, someone comes up behind you and puts a knife on your throat. If you react quickly and aggressively, defending yourself and taking control of a weapon and neutralize the attacker, this is a self-defense situation. Various methods of this system will allow you to protect yourself and others from hostile, violent acts, prevent injuries, and defeat and neutralize attackers.
The system includes protection from various attempts of aggression, such as punching, kicking, grabbing, choking and breaking limbs. Its based on simple, instinctive movements, rather than complex techniques that require long study and good physical shape. These techniques are also used in situations where your life is in danger, that is, when the attacker is armed, for example, with a stick, a knife, a pistol and even a rifle.
The melee self-defense system was developed with the purpose of rapid and effective training for people from different age groups and different levels of fitness. As a result, the technique of self-defense can be effectively applied by men and women of different ages and different physical abilities.
The techniques and principles of the melee self-defense system are based on natural movements that are very effective and accessible in learning. Students are taught to apply these principles and techniques in different situations, for example, in the dark, sitting or lying down, in adverse circumstances, when it is necessary to defend itself and the ability to move is limited, for example in an elevator, etc.
Hand-to-hand combat is a more complex stage in the study, where students are taught quick and effective ways to neutralize the enemy. This part of the system includes modern methods of combat: attack, defense, counterattack methods, development and sense of time, feints, combat tactics, and some important psychological methods associated with survival in an extreme environment. Special training techniques are used to create situations that mimic the real, preparing you for the cruelty and reality of encroaching on your life.
The deadly nature of some techniques is perfect for real-life conditions. This combat system prepares people to cope with our cruel world, and allows the learners to protect themselves and save human lives. But you should always remember that your aim is to stop attack and neutralize the offender rather than kill him or inflict on him heavily body harm. In this case, even not you was the initiator of the conflict, you can easy become from victim a main suspect and get charged. Thats why its very important not excessed allowed rules of self-defense.
